Do you really think they're gross, though, diss? I have to admit that I've never seen (or heard) an ultrasound in person but I would LOVE to. I'm also endlessly intrigued by echocardiography.

But I've been wanting to ask this friend of mine if I can listen to her heart for about a year now, but I've been shy about it. never know how open people will be to that Nevertheless, it never occurred to me that she might say, "Um, that's gross Hillary."

I wouldn't be caught dead in a public restroom. Who the hell knows what I'd catch. Crabs, syph, who knows, man. Stewing around in some random person's feces and urine is not appealing to me or my excretory system. I go before I leave my apartment or I hold it in until I return.

Not gross, per se, just freaky. It's a very disconcerting sound, IMO.

esp. in surgery when the abdomen is open - even worse when the large intestine is open in one part

I was a pre-med/biology major for awhile and have seen more than one surgery

Well, what if you're listening to the heart of someone you really care for? Is it still disconcerting?

I have this hysterical vision of you dirving your bug ten miles under the speed limit with a bug that is making you squeeze the cheeks - yet no public restrooms (shakes fist at McDonalds for the food and the restroom) or speeding

the windows, of course, would be down because I am sure you have no environ. unfriendly AC

That reminds me of when someone in the dormitory supposedly had crabs and some people were convinced that sitting in the chair she sat in in the computer lab would give other people crabs. So, this one chair was thrown across the room, and whenever someone tried to take it to sit in it, some crazy chick would start screaming, "Don't sit in it! It's the crab chair!" And then people would tell stories about how they lived in the same suite with the "crab girl" and how they refuse to use the toliets or showers. That was a trip. Ah, freshman year.

Anyway, not to distract from the question I asked dissention a few posts earlier that he still hasn't answered. With all the flirtatious and sexual dialogue we've got going on this board, we can at least entertain something that is of real interest to me.

I agree with Stevie. The sound of heartbeats suck Me and her both much prefer to Listen to The Rain fall, but of course from Outside the Rain.
