Anyone want to organize one?

I would like to be part of some sort of convention. Maybe like you mentioned with the internet it could be better. I was just a bit disappointed with the vendors. I thought that there would be more then they had but I always want more.

Sadly, I think that the internet has hurt some of the fun of going to record conventions. I used to go to a few up in Boston and they would have quite a few vendors selling everything from, posters, promo CDs, import CDs, press kits, photos, 'recorded shows" ,etc. Today it is basically a waste of time.
Most of the vendors don't even bother coming anymore or just went out of business.
