Okay, here's a picture of me when I was about five. I was on the cover of a book, Puppy Care and Critters, Too! by Judy Petersen-Fleming and Bill Fleming. The only reason is because my uncle is a photographer

I remember going to a nice house with lots of grass in front with my cousin, parents, and uncle Darryl and then being told to play with the puppies! Yes...That will always be THE BEST JOB I'VE EVER HAD.

Dude, like the only thing I remember from when I was five is me looking out the car window at powerlines and thinking "Will I be five FOREVER?!?"

Oh. And passing out cookies to my kindergarten class. That's not nearly as philosophical, though, so I tend to gloss over that. My memory? Sucks. Seriously. If I ate breakfast, it'd be amazing if I could remember what I had.

THAT is wild. I thought I recognized it, so I just double checked our library system's website, and, sure enough, I did! We don't have that book in our collection, but we've borrowed it from other libraries for our patrons before.

I'd sing "It's A Small World After All," but I'm afraid I'd get it stuck in my head!

And that pic could not be cuter.

That is pretty wild! Once my mom and I were at a bookstore in Monterey, and that very book was their "book of the month." My mom wanted to go up to the employee and say, "THAT'S my son." She decided against it though. Darn....Now "It's A Small World After All" is stuck in my head!

Seriously...There have been so many weird coincidences and stuff like that in my life these past few years...So much that feels like it was meant to be. "Destiny Rules," eh?
