highlights!

Yeah. They look pinker in person, but I can't be bothered to get up and find batteries for my camera, so this'll have to do for now.

Tell Anna one of the resident lesbian Ledgies thinks she's cute.

I see you have a Franz Ferdinand poster. I haven't heard any of their music but I was wondering what they're like, and more importantly, why did they decide to call themselves Franz Ferdinand?

Franz Ferdinand is awesome. And their music is very cool. Very artsy in a new-wave way; almost nerdy. As for the name, it was the name of the Archduke of Austria who was assasinated, thus starting World War 1. I assume this is where they got the name from.

....Yes

I wonder if my record of "most pictures posted of one's self" will ever be broken on The Ledge?

I knew about his assasination being part of the reason for the outbreak of war, but I was curious as to why they chose to honor him with the band name and all. I just thought it was odd when I heard about them for the first time because we were talking about Ferdinand in my history class. You suppose one of the band members is something of a history buff, or they just thought it would sound cool?

Sounds like cool music.

Hillary
