Lindsey Buckingham Song of the Moment

golddustwoman77 · #1 12-12-2004, 07:57 PM

Since we were posting our Fleetwood Mac Song of the Moment on the Rumours Thread, I thought it would be fun if we put up the Lindsey song that we were into at the moment too.

I'll start us off:

"Countdown"

solo, then, you mean?

Band right at this moment "Murrow Turning Over In His Grave"

Solo right at this moment "Murrow Turning Over In His Grave"... Well, it's the same thing isn't it??

Also I'm into IKINW, I'm So Afraid (Earls Court 29/11/03), Doing What I Can and Shadow Of The West

I guess it can be either, as long as it is Lindsey.

If I'm talking about regular all time fav LB songs then the list goes like this :

Play In The Rain (parts I & II)
I'm So Afraid (The Dance)
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Go Insane (The Dance)
Come
Soul Drifter
Wrong
Don't Look Down
Say Goodbye
Slow Dancing (12" remix)
Murrow Turning Over In His Grave
Doing What I Can
Big Love (original)
Street Of Dreams
Go Your Own Way
Johnny Stew
Save Me A Place

All greatness

Johnny Stew is my Liddy song of the moment.

I'm loving Law and Order everytime I pop it in my CD player. I used to majorly hate it....now, it's a classic!

That brings back soooooo many great memories!! I need to go get that CD and put that version on my playlist. It's wierd, I was front row for all the England shows, except that night...Seteca and I were in the 25th or something row and when I heard ISA...I was crying! I didn't cry at the other shows...even though I was right up there watching him. That's the power of the song.

Solo LB song of the moment...well, lately, it's been Go Insane...live versions on my computer...NYC or Washington DC.

BTW, it IS the same thing.

That night's version was special for two reasons, firstly his playing was on fire and he really deviated from the norm on the solo that particular night which I could see and hear (even though Tuigirl and I were a whole two rows in front of you!!!

)

Secondly he trashed the Turner on that one when he threw it across the stage, the facts of which have become legend now.. Rick Turner thinks LB should go back to smoking grass to calm him down and reduce the guitar repairs!!

OMG! Me too. Lately like as of a few weeks ago. I use to really not care for it but all of a sudden I think I really like it.

Don't ya just kick yourself when you rediscover a song? All that time wasted not thinking twice about it.

My love for OOTC overshadowed L&O. OOTC was in the car one day and it was too rainy to go get it. I needed a Lindsey fix and decided L&O over GI. Best decision I ever made.
