And on a related note, they used the Fleetwood Mac reference in their kind of stupid ryming with ACK skit for the second time in like 6 months It's laziness on SNL's part but I'm happy with any random Fleetwood Mac mention.

HAHA! I noticed that too. Since we're on the subject ... Ana Matronic from the Scissor Sisters was looking VERY Stevie tonight, complete with robotic tambourine spasms. (I thought they were great, btw -- very energetic and fun!!!)

I was thinking the exact same thing. Did you love the corset she was wearing for Comfortably Numb?

Isn't it strange that they cut that out yet they actually re-aired the Ashlee Simpson episode last week--hoedown, band-blaming, lip-synching and all? It was like the episode was never made infamous. They just re-aired it like there wasn't a thing wrong with it. I was surprised about that. I'm sure Ashlee was thrilled. I'm sure she was watching it from home, being bedridden as a result of that nefarious acid reflux.

Speaking of that episode, did y'all catch "Bear City"? How stupid. Are they grasping at straws or what?

Ratings. Ashlee didn't swear or expose herself so it's all gravy to NBC.

Scissor Sisters were ok, but Hoppy McGoldPants was getting on my nerves. That girl was Stevie ish, she looked cute.

The lead singer was wearing gold pants, and he was hopping and flailing about to an annoying degree. he was also wearing a vest open, and he was really skinny. I just thought he was kind of lame.
