Default What is taking so long????

It seems like it's taking a very long time for the older fleetwood mac/stevie
videos to come out. i know the powers that be said there needed to be
a certin number of people to show intrest in it but c'mon.. I've seen music
dvd's from the 80's that are out now by bands like crosby, stills&nash,
aerosmith, neil young. so i can't see why there is such a delay on the f. mac
and stevie home videos from the past. just because the newer dvd's like
live in boston and destiny rules didn't sell as good as some people hoped it
don't mean that the older stuff would'nt sell. we as fans demand that the
older videos be released. and if i had my way of releasing them this is how
i'd like to see them come out.

1980-documentary and live concert (5.1 surround)
1981- stevie nicks in concert (5.1 & deleted songs put back in)
1982- fleetwood mac-mirage tour 1982 (5.1 & deleted songs put back in)
????- fleetwood mac COMPLEATE video history 1967-today
????- stevie nicks- COMPLEATE video history 1981-today

I just think it's time for these things to finally come out the way they should.

Just like I posted on the "Complaint" thread on "Chit Chat" Queen has released 4 two disc DVD set in just over a year's time (2 more two disc sets are scheduled to on their way)...These DVD's have covered most their officially released promo videos (Thus far, the upcoming "Greatest Video Hits 3" will finish off the rest) & 2 of their most known concerts (Wembley 86 & Milton Keynes 1982)

Why the holdup with FM releasing older video material on DVD is beyond me cause there is a market currently ripe for 'em...But thus is the life of the FM fan, One who is constantly awaiting for just one flavored biscuit to be thrown our way for being a loyal/obedient fan.

Don't forget B/N on CD! Including Without You, and other demos from that period....

You're right about how much old stuff there is on DVD. I went to Borders to pick up The Monterey Pop Festival box set and couldn't believe how many DVD and box set DVDs there are right now... of OLD material! Ahh... perhaps because it's the big holiday, the companies have pulled out all the junk-ola for we boomers and other assorted musicologists.

Next year... WE WANT MAC and lots of it!!! Where's that record company link?!

Yeah, it aggravates me because I've seen a lot of stuff released by MUCH less popular bands lately. If people are buying that, Mac stuff should sell tons more. Seems like a no-brainer money-maker to me But what do I know, I'm just a fan with $$$ to spend...

You'd think that greedy Mick would have his paws all over this!

I would think at least a video compilation would sell well amung people who aren't hard core fans like us. Oh why can't they release these?!

Don't forget the Rosebud concert.
