Default Recommendations for Best F-Mac book to buy

I'm looking into getting a book for myself on Fleetwood Mac (god bless gift certificates from parents who have no clue what to get you!) and I was wondering what you think is the best/most informative one. I already have "Fleetwood Mac: The First 30 Years" by Bob Brunning. I heard the new book out by Carol whats her face is a good one, but is there another that stands out? I'm looking for more of the Rumours era than earlier. Thanks guys!

To be honest, none of them are very special but if you get one, get the new Rumours one that came out. That "Rumours Exposed" one that came out a few years ago is atrocious, so stay as far away from that one as possible.

I really enjoyed Mick's book, even if it wasn't 100% accurate. You can find it DIRT cheap used, too!

They're all piddling, as everyone says. The worst of the lot grab all the old print interviews, throw them into a kitchen blender, & hit PUREE. Then you're left with a mass of mush -- soft, lumpy, unorganized.

I suppose one of the better books is the authorized history by Samuel Graham. You can surely find a copy of that somewhere.

I just bought that "Rumours Exposed" thing at a Flea Market this morning (it was only $5!). I'm not exactly rushing to read it, but it has some nice pictures.

If you've spent even a minimal amount of time perusing old articles in magazines & newspapers, you've essentially already read it.

Authorized Biography by Samuel Graham
Can sometimes be found on Ebay or at a record show.
There is also one from 1984 called Fleetwood Mac by Stephen Clarke

The only one I've actually read is Mick's book and I REALLY enjoyed it...I actually paid 12 bucks to renew my library card just to borrow it. Hehe I'm not allowed to shop on ebay cuz I'm only 16.

My favorite parts were all of the stuff about Tusk and the Tusk tour and when Lindsey left...whether that story was totally accurate or not I had to read that part twice and it made me so sad.
