I have a workprint copy of it and it's VERY different from the one they released. It has an entire sub-plot with Bruce Willis and Tracey Ullman and a wildly different ending!

I just found a sort of Lindsey connection to Spaulding Gray.

We know that Lindsey is a fan of Laurie's and I found this under Spaulding's filmography.

I loved Death Becomes Her, too!

Death Becomes Her is one of my faves. And it has the trinity of water! (Meryl - Cancer, Goldie-Scorpio, Bruce - Pisces) I never tire of that movie. plus, random Isabella Rossellini!

I like Devil, too, though i think Meryl isn't very good in those type of roles... I can't believe you have a weird version of death becomes her! lucky!

Isabella Rossellini is STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNING. I don't think a more perfect woman could be created.

The version I have (it's not the best quality, but it's alright) has Tracey Ullman and Willis having an affair. She convinces him to steal the potion and they high-tail it to Europe, leaving Meryl and Goldie to fend for themselves. About 70 years later, they all run into each other by accident and Tracey and Willis look phenomenal, while Goldie and Meryl look like utter ****.

I haven't watched it in quite awhile, but that's how I remember it. I'm not sure if Tracey and Willis took the potion or not.

Whoa, that's bizarre! yeah, isabella is nice...she sure looks stunning in that movie. course, i was distracted by the sparkling vial, as usual

I hardly remember tracy ullman in the movie!

That's because they cut Ullman out completely.

I guess that test audiences hated the ending, so they re-shot it and had Meryl and Goldie fall down the church steps and shatter into pieces. Since that ending didn't gel with the Ullman subplot, they cut her out.

Kubrick did the same thing to Jennifer Jason Leigh and Harvey Keitel in Eyes Wide Shut.

I loooooove Tracey Ullman, one of the best comic actresses in history. Rent "A Dirty Shame" when it comes out on DVD.

Whoa! I can't believe they were in eyes wide shut! It seems like that movie could've benefited from their innate weirdness.

Who else is in a Dirty Shame? Nevermind, i'll look it up.
