okay, that's what happened to me. Is there a Tusk file that says "midsum5 file" on it? (or something like midsum5)

NO. I downloaded it again, and it takes like a split second and then when i go to the file where it was downloaded to, it flashes a window but nothing.

okay, and the actual Tusk download from Bittorrent doesn't say midsum5 file. Okay, take a deep breath (I got very frustrated when spending 2 evenings trying to figure the whole thing out) but i remember that the md5 that i downloaded to my desktop never opened, just the one in the folder, then i got it to verify the Tusk file. But in the end, I just went to the dowloaded file wherever i had saved it, and it played with my regular win4dvd player. I'm sorry, i don't think i can help you unless i am on my home computer where all this took place (i am at work).

I will check back then, and hopefully some nice person can help you in the meantime.

It's hard for me to remember. Also, I don't think it's necessarily everything i did that made it play.

But sesly, if you're still having trouble later when i get home i'll bust that sh** out. I think i mainly did everything on this thread...

I know, i had to take a break and chill out with it. I was seething for awhile there. Maybe i should just make you a dvd. Do you have a new computer, or an older one?

Well now I have uninstalled BitTornado and now I'm downloading it with BitComet. So look for me to be asking for help in the next 2-3 days.
So far I have 0.1% downloaded. I'm on my way!

I wonder whether this new technology will take -- or I guess the question is "when?" Dozens of people seem to have a lot of trouble with it. I myself have avoided it, but I'll probably check it out at some point in the future.

Well, I think? it's mainly a problem for us with older machines. Mine's almost 4 years old, and doesn't have a DVD burner, or even player. But, I've upgraded it to 100 gig hard drive, so I'm milking it as long as possible.
But, it seems like those with players/burners haven't had nearly as many problems.

have totally avoided it because I prefer to make DVD-R copies with my Panasonic DMR-E55 stand alone burner instead of waiting hours upon hours for a show to load (More power to those who have the patience for it though)

Myabe one of these days I will check it out more thoroughly...
