So many, just naming a few, trying to put them in chronological order:
Stevie twirls with her arms up at the beginning of GDW in Japan 1977, then the howls at the end of the song. Stevie's side to side slams with the insanely huge tambourine on Gold and Braid 1981, then just throwing it away. Of COURSE, The Chain 1982, her little rocking side to side tambourine dance during the instrumental on YMLF, busting loose on EOTW, and all of Sisters. The little dance Stevie does during Gypsy 1983 US Festival when she is singing the second chorus and says "coming on down." Stevie Largo '83 when she introduces BATB, "You cannot look upon the beast until you can look upon him with love because it bums him out completely and then it kills him." Stevie rushing to the mic to begin Dreams at Red Rocks. Stevie twirling with the fan at the beginning of Alice. So many more, but I'll stop there. I know they're all Stevie moments, but what can i say?

I'm sure mine are repeats,
--Silver Springs from The Dance. Stevie singing, "never get away" will always send chills up my spine. --Sister of the Moon speaking-in-tongues-freak-out from the Mirage tour. --Rosebud Rhiannon performance. --Say You Love Me from The Dance when they all line up at the front of the stage, and especially the part where Stevie looks at Mick wide-eyed as she sings and spreads her arms out a bit. It's so cute. --Stevie wagging her finger at Mick (as if to say, "shame on you") I think it was during The Chain. --Stevie's Gold Dust Woman from The Dance. --Lindsey's Big Love/Go Insane performance from The Dance. --The Chain from the Mirage Tour especially when Stevie wails, "CHAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIN" at that key moment. --Stevie's "Welcome Everybody....." from The Dance. --Stevie and Lindsey's hug after Landslide from The Dance. --Stevie hugging the band at the end of The White Winged Dove video and all of the backstage banter pre and post concert. --Stevie's dancing during Gold and Braid from above concert. --I really could go on and on so I'll stop there!

I guess I'll throw in a handful... I know where this is headed...
![]() *Chris's little dance backstage at the end of "Don't Stop" on The Dance -- too cute! *Destiny Rules -- the fish. That one gets me every time. *another DR -- rehearsals when Lindsey's talking about how he wants to sample the high note for "Come" and Brett just cracks up *Making of Rumours where Chris is talking about how long it took for them to film "Songbird" *All of "Beautiful Child" on LIB -- when Brett starts playing the intro he's completely in the zone, and at the end Stevie's voice blends in with everything else going on.. it's perfect. *LIB, Brett on "Stand Back" during the chorus when he looks like he's shouting the words *whenever Brett does ![]() alright, that's enough for now...

Stevie San Jose '89: when she teases the audience by starting to sing Rhiannon and then says, in a giggly voice with the biggest smile, "You sing it!"
Stevie Red Rocks: there are a couple of moments during Beauty And The Beast where she's beautifully "all white"...she's in that gorgeous white lace shawl and her big hair is backlit in a pale bluish-white. Stevie Street Angel Tour: crouching down in front of the audience for the middle of Edge Of Sevnteen and letting it rip!!! Stevie US Fest '83: Stevie's emotion and enthusiasm for the show and all of that crazy running in those platforms! Stevie '83 MTV interview: talking about Hamburger Helper and Lindsey ruining their only skillet when they were poor. The band filming MTV promos for the Mirage contest...Lindsey in his shades and sweatshirt acting like he is just "too cool" throughout. (Maybe it's just that would have rather been doing something else, but the vibe he's putting out cracks me up...) Not really a specific moment, but Stevie's vocals on Green Manalishi. When Stevie pats her cheek after Lindsey kisses her following Landslide on The Dance. Go Insane on The Dance. 'Nuff said. If I had a year's time, I'd go on..... ![]() Last edited by EveryHour; 11-06-2004 at 01:14 AM.. |

- Lindsey's excitement (and convulsions, lol) after playing "Tusk" with the USC Band on "The Dance" and then when he's pumping his fist almost out of breath during "Don't Stop" on the verge of tears.
- The staredown between Lindsey/Stevie during "Silver Springs" on the Dance (probably been mentioned already). That's the perfect symbol for the history of the band and how it makes them so appealing. - I love wtaching how Mick can down a full beer with the help of his lackey backstage during a drum solo (Mirage show). - Watching "Not That Funny" live from the Mirage show. Everyone (except Stevie, who sits that one out) gets into the zone and lets loose. Lindsey does his little step-step-step dance while playing and practically swallows the mic with his howling. John comes out of hiding, Christine's having a blast on the piano, and Mick does his usual crazy drum solo--back when he looked like this-crackhead-is-scary instead of oh-he's-just-a-dirty-old-man kinda scary :-D - I love when Lindsey wraps up a big solo (usually ISA) he does that goose-stepping to the last few riffs. Lifting his foot all the way up and stomping it down to the beat. It's an essential part of my air guitar if no one else can see me... - Hearing the basedrum to "The Chain" when I FINALLY got to see them live. - This is a personal thing, but when "Tusk" finally became my favorite record. Every song (save for 1) finally clicked with me and I knew that I had my all-time favorite album.

I used to think that maybe he suffered from some sort of disease. I guess it's like walking and chewing gum, except it's walking and playing guitar! Has anyone EVER seen another guitar player walk like that while soloing? ![]()

One I also forgot- Stevie's "Rhiannon" intro from the Belladonna tour video with Roy Bittan. I've never heard it any better than that one. "Don't go......... Rhiannon........" |

Another: - Watching Stevie step to the beat of The Chain with her back to the audience until she has to sing, sillhouetted against blue light. I will never forget that - my first look at Stevie in real life. - 'Come' live. - 'ISA' live. - 'Stand Back' live. Last edited by DeadliestPoison; 11-06-2004 at 06:05 PM.. |

This has probably already been mentioned but it deserves to be mentioned again.....Stevie's GDW "HOME" wail on the Dance DVD!
Also on the Dance during "Say You Love Me" when they're all at the front & they slow the tape down, when Stevie & Mick are looking at each other & Mick tilts his head & smiles with such happiness ![]() |

Every interview I've seen of John McVie in the past 10 years, his humour is astounding.
The audience shot on the LIB DVD just before Landslide when the two gay guys realise what song is playing and hug each other. Everytime I watch I'm So Afraid on "The Dance" and in the little pause somebody shouts "go Lindsey!" and I picture Lindsey throwing his guitar down and walking off stage (as I remember when John said to Lindsey "why don't you just leave" meaning the room and he left the band!) The Chain, Mirage video 1982. The whole song I can watch over without ever getting bored of that one. Lindsey's reaction to criticism on Destiny Rules when he says "Jesus Christ man!" in his high pitched voice. Any time Mick mentions "Harold the dildo" ![]() |

![]() Tee hee on Lindsey's high pitched voice!! Speaking of the Mirage video, when Lindsey bends down and reaches out to touch the audience, I love that! Obviously, when he let people play his guitar during GYOW this tour....that totally ruled. During Destiny Rules, when Lindsey air guitars. Hee!! Also, John getting perturbed at Mick for talking...and his run for Senate comment. BWAH! Stevie's crazy Rosebud Rhiannon headbang thing.
