I know Florida has been called for Bush, but has anyone seen figures for how many early/absentee ballots have not been counted there yet? I read 1.6 million somewhere... that's a hasty call, if that number is accurate.

I'm not even sure Ohio is done voting yet...

Cuyahoga County is winning for Kerry by 189835. Ballots are still being counted in urban counties. There are 125,000 provisional ballots yet to be counted. They will not be counted until November 12-15.

The 1.6 million number are early votes that supposedly have not yet been counted. I've hear anywhere between 90-250,000 absentee ballots. Add them together, there could be a very different outcome in Florida.

Faith isn't the problem... the perversion of religion is.

But, I know what you mean. You're meaning their concept of faith.

true my friend...

Here is a song lyric that fits the perversion of religion:

"How can this be?
Why is he the chosen one

Saint gone astray
With a scepter and a gun

Learn to believe
In the mighty and the strong

Come bleed the beast
Follow me it won't be long

Listen when the prophet
Speaks to you
Killing in the name of God

Passion
Twisting faith into violence
In the name of God"-"In The Name Of God"-Dream Theater

Gosh, though, doesn't it seem like the people who voted early and all that would be repub?

Exit polls have them breaking for Kerry, for what it's worth.

Bush has 269 votes.

I don't know if I'm more a.) incredibly angry or b.) saddened by the idiocy of my fellow citizens.

This blows.

Try and draft me and see what happens.

Ah! it's a hard choice. i like to do the idiocy of fellow citizens, and then say that if we hadn't had so many repub presidents, our citizens would be less idiotic.
I swear, next time i want to travel to other states and make "disenfranchised" people register to vote...
cause you know, if all the poor and minority people voted, we would win...

I'm angry and disappointed, but I can't say I'm truly surprised. So many people are convinced that Papa Bush is gonna protect us from the big, bad, unknown evils, that they didn't pay attention to the fact that he's eroding our country at a rapid pace.

Sadly, that fact will become nearly impossible to ignore in the coming months though.

Anyway, this is all disappointing, but it's just all the more reason why we need to continue our quest to improve this country, and get it out from under the thumbs of the war-mongering, job-outsourcing, economy-ruining, Bible-thumping hypocrites.
We have four years to work towards taking the NEXT election from the right-wing conservatives, and we better make the best of that time.

Kerry isn't conceding Ohio.....so we won't know anything until tomorrow, at least.
