If Bush wins (legitimately or illegitimately), I predict it's a matter of months until the next major terrorist attack on mainland U.S.A.

Wonder how many people will be re-thinking their vote after that.
And what a damned shame that it would have to take another catastrophe for people to realize what a detriment he's been to our country and our safety.

Keeping in mind that some brick-heads will STILL support him, even after that. God help me, but I'm starting to think CarneVaca was right... this country will practically have to be in utter ruins before the people of the good ol' U.S. of A. realize the error of their self-centeredness and arrogance.

I am not planning on moving. I still love my country. I guess. It's about 50% of the people I can't stand. That's all.
I love my country too, but I don't think this will be the same country by the time Bush is finished.

Not only does it look like we're stuck with him for another 4 years, but so far 10 out of 11 states with the "gay marraige ban" amendment on their ballots voted to pass the amendment! And this jerk may get to appoint up to 3 Supreme Court justices... Roe v. Wade will be next!

I am so disgusted with those 50% of the people right now! This is what our country is becoming.... an intolerant, f*&k the rest of the world, rule by religion, laughing stock of the world! And I truly believe we are FAR less safe with that man in office for another 4 years. He can't even tell Osama Bin Laden from Saddam Hussein!

I feel like this country is turning into an Orwelian nightmare.....

My husband loves Portugal and would love to live there, so I think ... Portugal here we come!

Fox just called Ohio a Bush win! I think that's a little cocky of them. It's too close IMO

there's the serious one I think you're referring to which is Planets Of The Apes...

Then there's the one I refer to "SPACE BALLS"-

Ape #1-"What's that coming out of her nose?"

Ape #2-"It...looks...like Space Balls"

Ape #1-"Aw ****...There goes the planet"

I am flipping thru show that Kerry already has California Electoral votes, But he needs Ohio or otherwise Bush will need only 1 state to win...And Alaska is being rumored to be going to Bush which could push him over the 270 electoral votes he needs to win a majority.

Sad

Did you read that article in the NY Times a few weeks ago (in the Sunday Mag. I think) where it went on and on about how significant R's think it is okay to freely spend the resources of the world because the end days are coming and who cares what we will need in 50 to 100 years. I know that sounds crazy, but the DOCUMENTED it. I do not have the article - but it sickened me.
I saw a special on CNN (i think) last weekend on some of these fanatical freaks who are hoping that the end is near so they and their children can experience it! And according to them, all they have to believe is that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, and they will go to heaven... and anyone that doesn't belive that will go to hell. So apparently, you can lie, cheat, steal and murder, but as long as you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you've got a free ticket to "paradise"!

CNN projects Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives.
Okay, I'm getting my passport in order first thing tomorrow... so I'm ready to get the hell out of here!

The mayor of Columbus Ohio was just on and says they are not finished counting the votes. There is also issue of the provisional ballots which have yet to be counted. This is going to the courts. Mark my words.

That's what it will take. And you know what the response will be ? "Oh, it's all God's plan."

Of course that's what it will take. A two by four, embedded with a rusty nail, slammed into their foreheads.

Exclamation Oh brother...

With the numbers at this moment here is what could happen:

If Bush wins Ohio, He will be 1 Electoral vote short of a majority at 269 Electoral votes

If Kerry loses Ohio he will have to win all the remaining states and will end up with 269 Electoral votes

Kerry HAS to win OHIO!!! Has to...
