Peter Jennings just explained that -- 4 electoral votes total -- 2 go to the pop vote winner of the state. The state is apparently split into 2 "regions" (or maybe they're called "districts"), and whichever candidate wins the region, he gets one of the remaining electoral votes. He said there was a possibility of Kerry getting all 4...

My frustration comes more from a general... eh. What's wrong with people that they see horrible unemployment numbers, a horrible economy- and want to stick with what put it there? It's just frustration. (and I had already edited my previous post while you were posting)

I don't think Diss was blasting North Carolinians who didn't vote for Bush. Just the ones who still did, despite N.C.'s unemployment rate.

My friend, Louie, is in N.C., and I know he was working hard to get all of his Democrat friends out to vote, but many of his family and friends are Bush-Supporters. Still, every little bit helps!

I was going to suggest we try to keep this political thread civil, but civility and politics don't usually go together!
