Default The question eating at me...

Is there going to be a 2005 Fleetwood Mac calendar? I'm thinking I would've heard something about it by now but maybe not.

The buying of the annual calendar is a big event for me because it is so damn hard for some reason. Every year there are fewer and fewer people and things that are considered calendar-worthy that actually interest me. Looking at the latest selection in the stores is depressing--"The O.C.," "Mary-Kate and Ashley," "Celine Dion and Anne Geddes," and more disturbing things. And, of course, there are always calendars full of nothing but jackasses, ferrets, or pugs. I don't want any of that. And the 2005 Finding Nemo calendar has the same damn pictures from this year. So, if there's no Fleetwood Mac calendar, I'll have to get, I don't know...Hello Kitty or tree frogs.

wow, we have cool astrology calendars, calendars of cool shots of dancers, calendars of various artists (Monet, Picasso, on and on) Also i have a real good one of fractal art of equations - stunning. Also there are lots of "beauty of nature" types breathtaking scenery, wild animals, whatever. I mean, we have millions of them...
But i hope there is a Mac calendar too. I didn't get one last year, i guess cause i joined to late...

You joined what too late? The fan club, you mean? I didn't think you had to be in it to get one. I thought they had them on Amazon, and I was pretty sure I saw them in a mall somewhere.

We've got the cool wildlife and artsy calendars and all, but I was really hoping for pictures of beautiful people, particuarly the Mac. None of the other beautiful people I like are popular enough right now to justify making whole calendars for the general public.

So, did they only make one for this year because of the tour?

The first one wasn't sent to me, so I'm not counting on a new one.

Well, if the scam club puts out another one, good luck getting it before April! LOL

Our esteemed webmasters here at the Penguin put out a nice one a couple years ago - maybe we can coax them into doing another??

I didn't realize that. That would be cool.

By the way, am I the only one who has Amber's photo at the top of my screen? It's right under the menu for no reason. And I know I'm not imagining it. Or I've just gone insane. In fact, earlier, I was looking at one of my posts, and instead of a bumper sticker that said "Marriage should be about love not gender," there was Amber's photo. I kid you not.

Thanks for the compliment on the calendars! However-- you would not *believe* the enormous amount of work they were. We had a printer going in the house almost 24/7 for months, literally; it was like part of the soundtrack of our lives. Dealing w/ stuck paper, runny ink, empty cartridges....Looking back I cannot believe we did all that, to be honest LOL. I don't think we have the energy to do it again, much as I myself would love a new FM calendar!

No you're not. In fact, it can be everywhere for me and a few others, replacing almost any other image on the screen. Well, it's been entertaining so far.

My stupid printer just went ballistic on me, and I know exactly how that is. The cost of cartridges is sickening, kinda like gas is right now, and I don't even own a car, but geez louise!!

I never got my fan club calendar, so whatevah. Pfftt.

SO true about the crap calenders out there...Anne Geddes makes me want to insert sharp objects into my eyes....NO babies dressed as barn yard creatures for me...

Anyway - the FM calender of last year was available at Sam Goody and places like that - I got mine for like 3bucks in February....I've not received any word on a new Mac calender...though it would be really cool if there was one...

Being a Beatle fan, however, that's usually my default calender...a Beatles one...and if I don't like the BEatle one a nice I LOve Lucy or Gone With the Wind calender usually makes me happy
