If Gore was as "slimy" as you say he was, why didn't he just go ahead and annoint himself president? He did the right thing. He played by the rules and got f*cked in the process.

As for Gore - I think he is like all politicians

I sill never agree Gore played by the rules because he asked for limited recounts in counties favorable to him when there were problems all over Florida

Actually, my post was misleading - they were solid colors of the same boot - one hot pink, one black, etc.
