I like that song too. It's punk meets hillbilly boogie. Great stuff.
To me, The Ledge captures perfectly WHAT Tusk is about. Talk about a song that completely shakes up the music world! Get the dreamy Over and Over, then WHACK, The Ledge smacks you upside the head!

The single version is cool though, I like the way it just cuts out!
I have to say I agree with you... "Sisters Of The Moon" seems like a self-conscious nod to "Rhiannon" and "Gold Dust Woman."
It's notable in the lyrics, and then the chosen production-style most definitely drums that point home.

"Angel" is at least funky, and rather different from anything Stevie had done up to that point.

Grrr... now I'm thinking I need to start voting against "Sisters," rather than "Angel"!

This is way more inspired than "Rhiannon" ever was- at least "Sisters.." is based on Stevie's reality- whereas "Rhiannon" is just some cheesy allegory.

Every time I hear that song I get chills. It's the ultimate "rock-n-roll woman on tour" song. So much imagery!!

I agree.
And Trackaghost, may i say, you are SACRILIGIOUS.

"The Ledge," "That's Enough For Me," "I Know I'm Not Wrong" and "What Makes You Think You're The One"... any one of those songs would be deserving of the top honors.

For me, it's clearly one above the others... but they're all worthy.

"That's All For Everyone" was worthy too, but alas....

Again, they're the Lindsey songs that I think best represent his 'Tusk' mindset.

Aww, Amber... you know I love you, but there are certain Lindsey songs I want to help towards the top, too. So a couple of Stevie's songs have to be sacrificed to do so.

Trust me though, if I have my way, Stevie will still be representin' too!

The fact that that song survived so long was more credible then the fact it was voted out at last don't you agree? And then the fact that dissention didn't vote, one vote "forgotten" (enchantedsln), and still one 100% smap-vote on hold (moderators, when is Carnevaca allowed back?). I agree I sound sour and bitter here, and OK finally you got what you wanted, but at least don't overdo by using the word masterplan at your first success in almost Three!!!! weeks. You were lucky. Congrats on the voting out of SMAP.

2. The fact that you call TEFM a bad song underlines your bad taste. Look out with what you say or you'll have to type the same vote everynight AGAIN!!!!!
hmmmmm.... Someone is a little touchy......

It's a "wild heart," styled after the one Stevie drew in her little handwritten dedication on the back of the 'Wild Heart' LP.

Default Round 9 - Sara

All I desire is for this song to leave us. O, how I yearn for that day when SMAP danced triumphantly around Sara's dead body...those days are gone now.

So, would you say that...all you ever wanted...was to know that this song left us...?

Do it! SOTM IS too self-indulgent, despite the coolness of the guitar solo. SAVE ANGEL! VOTE SOTM!
