I had forgotten that. "Talk to Me" is a really good "well" song in general. But I know that some would say that "good well song" is an oxymoron.

I just don't think Stevie can top Lindsey's or especially Billy Burnette's:

A thread celebrating my biggest Stevie lyric pet peeve ! There is no good use of the throwaway word "Well". Each "Well" I hear only makes me yearn for a word that had real emotional impact or signified something. ANYTHING. It's Stevie's version of "Like" or "You Know". Oh, to excise that word from her vocabulary like the tumor it is !
