Gotta get these out of the way:
Mystery To Me
Rumours

Trouble in Shangri-La

Okay, now for others:
Houses of the Holy, Presence: Led Zep
1984: Van Halen
Blue: Joni Mitchell
Aladdin Sane, Low: David Bowie
Number of the Beast: Iron Maiden
Bebe LeStrange: Heart
Tender Prey: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Sgt. Pepper's, Revolver: The Beatles
Who's Next?: The Who

I'm sure I'll think of more...

I voted for Blondie - Autoamerican.

I also like most of Joni Mitchell's album covers and I have most on vinyl so they look even better.

Yea I'll admit it! I voted for Madonna's LAV. I dont care, she was FREAKING HOT in 1984 in the early years. Don't get me wrong, shes still a looker now.

Exclamation The most...

prophetical album cover was Dream Theater's original artwork for their September 11,2001 release "Live Scenes From New York", Which was yanked later that same fateful day due to the "coincidental" artwork used. I remember preparing to go to a store that afternoon to purchase it, But things in the real world changed that forever more...

The original artwork can be seen at the bottom of the page on the link provided (Really sad was that News outlets ASSUMED that DT were cashing in on 9/11, But this release date was scheduled in late spring/early summer...Besides the guys in DT are New Yorkers themselves, Shows how much ALL news outlets really f--king know!!!)

I voted for Hotel California. I always loved the sunset and the mission-like building.

~~

I actually became interested in certain albums (like TITN and Mirage for example) all because of their album covers.

~~

Some of my favorite album covers:
Mirage, TITN, Tusk, Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, The Dance- FM

The Wild Heart, Bella Donna- Stevie Nicks

Law and Order- Lindsey Buckingham

Christine McVie- Christine McVie

Invisible Touch, Abacab, Duke- Genesis

Livin' On the Fault Line- Doobie Brothers

Storm Front, Glass Houses, The Nylon Curtain- Billy Joel

Agents of Fortune, Fire of Unknown Origin- Blue Oyster Cult

Gaucho, The Royal Scam- Steely Dan

Moving Pictures- Rush

Brothers In Arms, Dire Straits, Love Over Gold- Dire Straits

Graceland- Paul Simon

The Joshua Tree- U2

There are a lot more, but I'll just post these.

~~

Edit: I forgot Donald Fagen's "The Nightfly"!
Such an awesome album cover!

Of course the regular ones, like most of the Beatles covers, are automatically included. And yes Ryan, another chalk for Remain In Light.

Blonde On Blonde:

Tago Mago:

Foxtrot:

Here Come The Warm Jets (mainly because of the porn card, of course):

Meet The Residents:

Relayer:

Unknown Pleasures:

Hex Enduction Hour:

Power, Corruption & Lies:

Laughing Stock:

Basically a cover should reflect the music on the album. These all do that in a way.
