You know, I have to say, usually the celebs are nice and it's the local celebs that are complete and total asshats (a few are genuinely nice people). Please. You're on the news. You play for the Eagles. Whatever. Get over yourself. Sheesh When I interned, Nick Cannon came in with the writer/director of Drumline (who's also the WHASSSSSUP guy) to promote the film. I didn't know who he was when I bumped into him in the hallway. He probably didn't like that too much. Oops.

Hmmm...

He's not a "big celebrity", but he means a lot to me. I would have to say Nils Lofgren is the "nicest", though I was also able to spend the most quiet time with him, and I have yet to meet a celebrity that isn't "nice". I have met some that weren't extraordinarily friendly, by I don't care about that too much. Nils signed gobs of LPs, etc for me while we chatted, and he was very sweet and genuine. I went to a show in Portland and told him I was so sad because I was not going to be able to go to the show the following night in Seattle because it was a 21-and-over venue (I was 17 at the time). Well, I managed to sneak into the place in the afternoon and hide in a bathroom stall for a few hours (the soundcheck sounded amazing from in there!) until the show started. When he saw me after the show, he gave me a big hug and said, "You made it!"

Debbie Harry and Chris Cornell are nice but very quiet. If you encounter either of them, don't expect a long-winded conversation! (Chris Stein is chatty, though, and told us we had to "shove stuff in Debbie's face if we want her to sign it" .)

Paul, Linda, and Heather Mills McCartney: nice as can be. Very friendly.

Timothy B. Schmit (Eagles): SO sweet. I had the chance to go to a guitar store appearance in Cali, which was really neat. He answered questions, took photos and signed autographs. He was just a genuinely nice guy who loves music. There was a young boy there who had drawn a picture of Timothy for him and Timothy held it up for everyone to see and got very excited. He was also very appreciative and surprised that I knew all of his work (solo, w/Poco, etc).

I can't think of anyone else at the moment. Still hoping that FM meeting day will come.......

I love Chris and Debbie. Did you see when they were on Live By Request a couple of months ago and when Chris took a request call, he got into this long-winded conversation with the lady? It was priceless. Debbie seems like a very down-to-earth person, but very shy. I love how she does all her hair and make-up herself, doesn't have an entourage, and still drives a beat up Buick. That's so cool that you met them!!!

EveryHour, I felt the same way about Chris Cornell... totally great, but totally quiet. Our moment was awkward because he's quiet, and, uh, I think he's a sex god.

I've never met Nils, but I've had a huge crush on him for a looong time. Love his albums. Nice to hear he's so great.

Well obviously it was very cool to meet Stevie and Lindsey. But all too brief! I would have to say the coolest celeb I have met is Lorna Luft. Awesome lady. Met her after her show for the 2nd time last Sat and hung with her for a while. She remembered me from before and we chatted about random stuff like the Olympics and the strange woman in the 2nd row doing her cross stitch during the show!

This sounds stupid (andof course I don't often meet celebs anyway), but 100% Lindsey. I mean, ppl like Brett and Sharon were so amazingly nice, but Lindsey is a goddamn superstar, and the way he was when he found Lux backstage in Sydney was just so amazing. So I nominate Lindsey for the Award for Nicest Celeb.

I met her briefly when I was in London a few weeks agi. She was in the lobby area of The Savoy. She was very nice. I kind of did not know who she was, but she was standing sort of by her picture on the show's ad. So, I was like "Well High!!!" - I was waiting for friends and having some champagne in the lobby. Later, I was like champagne in the lobby of beautiful Savoy and Ms. Luft - that was pretty cool

Stevie was definately the best celeb encounter. She is down to earth and really appreciates her fans and I like the fact that she can relate to people emotionally, even when she doesnt even know you. She is the Best.

Steven Tyler was a hoot, very cool, funny and chatty. He makes you feel like you are an old friend.

Gene Simmons was charming and so polite, not like the demon he is on stage at all. and he loves to talk with his fans about anything not just music.

No not really. I think she was waiting on people like I was. Then the waiter brought the check and I had to pay for the champagne. But, we exchanged pleasantries. I told her it was great to see her and that I liked her stuff. She could not have been nicer for that minute or so, but she had to go, etc. My friends came down from their room and they decided they wanted to have champagne ( ) and they were like "Was that Lorna Luft" - I was like "yes" and gave no explanation

I would have liked to talk to her somemore, but there was no time, etc. I should have bought her some champagne!!!!!!

LOL! Most people I talk to have never heard of her but I think she's great. She seems pretty grounded

So tell me... was this on the day I tried to meet up with you in London?
