Question Coolest, nicest celeb you've ever met

Hehe. I'm being self indulgent today. I met Justin Guarini again over the weekend, and I must say, he is THE nicest, sweetest, most amazing celebrity I've EVER met. I flew to Houston and met up with a lady from the JG boards (she was a doll and we had a blast together!), and we drove to Beaumont to see him do a concert with Aaron (*barf*) Carter. Justin sang three songs, OWNED that stage and left. We went out back, waited about 30 minutes or so, he came out in his limo. The limo drove away and Justin rolled the window down to wave at all us. We are SCREAMING at him "I love you, Justin, please come back, PLEEEAAAAASSEEE!!!!!" LOL I have a scratchy throat today. Anyways, there were maybe 15 of us there waiting and the limo is driving to the gate to get on the road to leave. The limo stops, and OMG, is turning around!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Justin got out of the limo, came over to us and says "Aww, there's not that many of you guys." Sigh...he's just the greatest!! He signed photos, CD covers, gave out hugs and kisses, posed for TONS of pictures. He was EXTREMELY personable, sweet, kind and I gave him a Lindsey CD (OOTC) and a letter explaining why I thought that CD applied to his situation. I hope he enjoyed it!

So, who have you met that you could gush over forever for being so sweet and kind to their fans? Besides Stevie. LOL

Below is a pic of Justin and I. Sweetest guy EVER.

Thumbs up Easy...

Gary Cherone, former lead singer of Extreme & Van Halen...The nicest musician I have ever met.

I also met his identical (Though not as famous) twin brother Greg who was just as cool a person.

Susan Sarandon. It's a long story, but she's such a sweetheart, I just love her. Nice as can be and then some.

Nice picture! I've barely met any celebrities so I don't really have any stories except for one. I'm a big Metallica fan and I love Kirk Hammett. He's from the San Francisco Bay Area and so am I. So anyway probably about ten years ago I was in a restaurant in SF with my parents having lunch. We were the only people there until Kirk and a friend walk in a sit down a few tables away from us. Oh my god! I had to get my courage up and then I walked over to them and introduced myself. I don't really remember what I said but it was something along the lines of I love your music and especially your guitar playing and I've seen you in concert and you're awesome. Kirk was really friendly and introduced me to his friend who was in another band and we talked for a few minutes. That's it and all I remember but he seemed nice and down to earth.

Stevie - first and foremost!

Hanging out with Drea de Matteo during SXSW last year was pretty cool.

I've also spent an entire day with Johnny Ramone. My friend Bruce has known the Ramones for years - they played 2 nites in Austin back in 1990 or so - we hung out with Johnny all day - had lunch, took him to record stores (kinda like my day with Gerald!). LOL We also took him to my bf at the time's house- where ex-bf and his unsuspecting friends were hanging out watching football. And then I walk in w/ Johnny Ramone! LOL

Stevie - by far. I made her cry with a very sad story and she beamed at me and told me I was gonna be okay. And I was!!!!!!!!

Patti Lupone, the original Evita, was a blast. We had martini's with her!!!!!! She was HYSTERICAL!!!!!!! I was also at a party where she got on the piano and sang - what a treat.

Lindsey was also pretty cool at the Four Seasons - but it was brief - too brief. He was just great.

I also met a few really great other people - Glady Knight comes to mind - what a genuine and real person.

Never had many "nice" experiences with celebrities myself...Saw the mac getting out of limos in knoxville...Lindsey was the only one who would wave, Stevie Mick and John all rushed in, without acknowledging us, even though we were screaming...lol...maybe thats why??
Saw OJ Simpson once on bad terms...while visiting my aunt in Calif..she took us by his former house, and we were taking pictures, and my aunt being crazy like she is took the video camera and was filming his house and was saying real loud "OJ SIMPSON THE KILLER, MURDERER, THIS IS HIS HOUSE.." and we didnt know he was across the street staring at us until my uncle was like "sherry shut up and get in, hes right there! lol

If you've ever seen the show IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT, I met all of them...they filmed that show near here when it was on...none were very nice except for the old Chief of Police, cant remember his name..

Im not good with names...the show 90210...the guy with the curly blonde hair, lol, Ian something...lol anyway my cousin in Calif is good friends with him, met him, hes VERY VERY nice...nicest celeb ive ever met

Chris

just ONLY 11 more daily 200 mile trips to/from OKC for Deb and the radiation treatments will end...So instead of the 40% reoccurrence in the next 5 years she will have only a 15% reoccurrence for the rest of her life.

She is ahead of schedule since Dr.Bozarth reduced her yield of radiation today...Only thing is she should've waited to cut her hair later because now her upper body will no longer be radiated but thus too late for the back of her hair, We can't win for losing

I'll be alright by the end of the week...Hopefully!!!???!!!

Oh, fer cryin out loud. Nicest ? I meet a lot of celebrities. Enough that it isn't really a big deal anymore.

Rather than list all the nice ones, I'll just say in music that Stevie is great, Dolly is a hoot, Melissa Etheridge is really nice, the Wilson sisters are great, Clint Black is as nice as he is adorable. Those are the best.

The actors...it would be a ridiculous list. Most people are, in fact, very nice.

OMG - Dolly is terrific. She and her husband (Carl Dean) were in front of me in Customs at the Atlanta airport. They were so nice to everyone and just stood in line like everyone else. I laughed alot because she was def. Dolly and dressed so you would know it - Conversly, her husband was just as ordinary and dressed as plain as he could be. I love her!!!!

Dolly Rocks. A writer friend of mine went to her house for a meeting at 10 AM on a Sunday, and she offered him a beer. She lives close to another friend of mine, and one morning my friend was out walking the dog, and out walks Dolly, at 8AM, done up to the nines. My friend almost had a heart attack. Of course Dolly pipes right up, "Good Morning, darlin', how are ya today ?"
This might make me stroke out on the spot.
