Default Athens 2004: The Official Olympics Thread
I figured I'd get this thread going since today is the Opening Ceremonies of the 2004 Summer Olympics!!!

Will anyone else be watching a ridiculous amount of Olympics coverage like myself??

I'm not a huge sports fan, but I love the Olympics. I'll especially be glued to my TV for Gymnastics, Diving, and Swimming.

Other than soccer, that's really all I tend to watch as well. Not a big summer olympics fan. However, we have a TV at work and it only gets 3 channels...one being NBC so it's pretty much a given we'll be watching.

I'll be watching the softball and swimming for sure. As for the other events, I'll just be browsing the channels.

I used to run the mile in school, it IS a workout, of course the coaches idea of a workout is to run 2.5 miles and then do sprints

I was all set to plonk down and watch it tonight, then my friend got tickets to the Korean Ballet at Zellerbach on Berkeley campus, so i'm going to that.
But it looked like on the commercials that Beach V-ball is tonight, and i'll be bummed if i miss that.
Softball ( I played softball and volleyball for college, so i love watching)
gymnastics
almost anything else
I'll be watching!
