Heart album inspired by Led Zeppelin DVD

According to a report by www.rockymountainnews.com Heart's album, Jupiter's Darling was influenced by Led Zeppelin's recent live DVD. "They used to call us the female Led Zeppelin," guitarist Nancy Wilson says.

Seeing the live DVD spanning Zeppelin's career "really lit my fire when I was thinking about making the Heart album. Seeing Zeppelin again! When you think of Led Zeppelin, when people remember Led Zeppelin, they don't remember the full force of the band. Those guys would stick an acoustic set in the middle of their big rock show and do stuff like Going to California. It's really musical stuff."

"We met those guys along the way, more in the '70s", she adds. "They were big fans of Barracuda. I guess they used to carry around a little record player and play that single in the hotel room. We were so jazzed to hear that."

Maybe this is because Heart lifted the main riff of "Barracuda" from "Achilles Last Stand"
