Default I'm playing a show today, and doing a FM cover

Hi all.

My band Shryne ( http://www.shrynerocks.com/ ) is playing a private party today (Friday), and one song will be covering is Go Your Own Way.

We will be recording this show, and if anyone would like me to put up an MP3 I'd be more than glad to.

Edit:

I'll also note that it's a little interesting to cover. We have lowered the key 3 halfsteps, and we only have 2 vocalists. Our lead guitarist is doing Lindsey's stuff, and I'm doing Christine's vocals and organ parts (and I get some shaker stuff in there). We of course do have a rhythm guitarist on the acoustic, a bassist, and a drummer, but they're all not as famillar with FM as I am, so it's a little bit different style.

I would love to hear it as well. My band does it in D also. Who can sing that high C repeatedly? Obviously not Lindsey (at least anymore), nor most of the rest of us.

Is it D? I guess that sounds right. I said 3 half steps down because that's what I transpose my keyboard by. I already know it in the actual key, so I figured why bother relearn it.

The only qualm is that the organs on my keyboard don't give as wide a sound as the drawbars Christine uses, I have to play 2 octaves with both hands, and somehow turn Leslie simulation on with my mod slider. I was trying to set up my extra sustain pedal to do that for me, but I don't have the correct splitter :/

I really really really need to buy a B3-like keyboard. (But they're so expensive!)

I recommend the Nord Electro (61-key version), which costs about $1,400. Its B-3 clone capabilities are renowned, & its weight (about 15 pounds) is a pleasure! There's even a Nord Electro Yahoo Group for owners & admirers -- who call it their "Little Red Devil."

The latest OS version of it (v2.1) allows you to vary all the old B3 artifacts, like key click, leakage & swell. It's a pure pleasure to play.

I would love to hear it as well. Hey, can I be your Stevie?
I've only been practising that harmony for 10 years, though
Rock on, dude.

Back now!

The show went very well, although there were a few minor things that went wrong. This was our largest show since we've come back from a hiatus.

The audio track I have comes from the built in mic of a Canon DV camera. I also have another copy from another camcorder, but I haven't mixed them together yet, so this is just a raw track.

Hope you like it!

A couple notes:

My mic is way too low.
Levels in general aren't too great.
JB (lead vocals/guitar) is making up the solos, and I think he messes up a bit out of nerves... don't mind him , so they're not supposed to sound like Lindsey's completely.
