No one was "ridiculing your opinions." My word. You brought up a movie in the "Summer movie" thread and I gave my opinion on the movie.

How can a movie critic have such thin skin???

I thought the laughing icon you used in the post was unnecessary, a tiny bit rude, and made it seem like Sharon was a tool for liking the film- I liked it too! I have no problem with opinions, but it did seem like you were ridiculing hers.

I'm sure you weren't trying for that tone, but we all read into words and emoticons differently, unfortunately.

No, I wasn't trying for that tone, but people will read things the way they want to. If I ridicule anything, it's that awful film.

Just remember what the immortal John Simon had to say about The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane:

"Judging from names involved on both sides of the camera, the film seems to have been made in a French-speaking region. Let me hope that it is Walloon, Swiss, or Canadian: I'd like to keep some illusions about France."

I have that movie on video, did they ever end up releasing it on DVD? I would imagine that a studio like Anchor Bay has the rights to it by now.
