Default I'm bored and it's 5am, so here's the outcome...

The top 10 Fleetwood Mac Songs that would be TOO ironic if played at your funeral...

#10 - Doesn't Anything Last (I guess not!)

#9 - Temporary One (it would seem so)

#8 - Murrow (Turning over in his grave? - kind of a stretch, but I ran out of songs)

#7 - Go Your Own Way (you sure are!)

#6 - Goodbye Baby // Goodbye Angel (funny, that's what I was gonna say!)

#5 - Say Goodbye (yup, that's why we're here)

#4 - That's Enough For Me (apparently!)

#3 - Destiny Rules (ain't that a bitch)

#2 - Never Going Back Again (depending on your beliefs, of course)

AND THE NUMBER ONE MOST IRONIC FLEETWOOD MAC SONG TO BE PLAYED AT YOUR FUNERAL IS....

#1 - Oh Well (cuz really...what can you do about it?)

As for me, I think I want Sara (of course!!!!) and GYOW, cuz I think it would be a kind of funny song to play at a funeral and maybe it would make people less depressed. There's something about that first chorus with the harmony that just makes you feel good.
I hadn't though about it, but why not- Tango In The Night. Just like that frustrated sea captain in the Ghost And Mrs. Muir,

"Then I remember
When the moon was
Full and bright
I would take you in the darkness
And do the Tango In The Night."

I'll add that "Dust" is an appropriately morbid and depressing song for any funeral.

ok, now about the other question. Between 2nd and 3rd verse, when she's "misting" that line (singing whispery and softly). I think she's saying "Ne-evah.......Ne-evah (never) but everyone has double sworn to me that she is saying "Sa-arah" But I always heard never, and she says "never" elsewhere in the song, and so why would she be saying "Sarah" other than the fact that she always says "sarah" (in a billion other songs)?

A few of us have said we hear "Tara."
Read Stevie's book. The answer's in there.

What does that mean, and what is Stevie's book? Why does there always have to be a quiz? Can you just tell me? \

Go to your local library and ask for the Stevie book that's due out in the year 2038.
And if you're asking what Tara means, it's a reference in WTTR...S to Gone With the Wind (and Betty Ford).

Yeah, i'll go right down and do that . Oh, yeah, Tara. Don't think so, but why do you guys think that? Seems plausible, just wondering how you arrived at that conclusion, ie: Do you have more info?

Don't forget about those who think she's saying "Pharoah."

My friend Anne bought me this CHEESY "tribute to Fleetwood Mac" CD, performed by the alleged "Stars of Studio 99." Whoever they are.

It's bad. Really bad.

In their version of "Seven Wonders," the girl sings "heaven" in those little in-between places.
It's so cheesy, I was shocked she didn't just sing, "ad-lib... ad-lib."

At any rate, I'm convinced Stevie is singing "Tara."

Ok, but i was wondering WHY you guys thought it was Tara. You know, your reasons, your evidence, whatever.

Betty Ford felt/looked liked Tara, I guess, and being a romantic, Stevie loves GWTW. She's singing about a great love & Tara was Scarlet's big love.
Plus it just sounds like she's singing "Tara."
