Default Kind of Morbid Question...

What, if any, FM songs would you want played at your funeral???

As for me, I think I want Sara (of course!!!!) and GYOW, cuz I think it would be a kind of funny song to play at a funeral and maybe it would make people less depressed. There's something about that first chorus with the harmony that just makes you feel good.

I don't think I would want any FM song played at my funeral. It's a sure fire way to put people off of it! My cousing died in his twenties and he chose Everybody Hurts by REM and I just can't bear to listen to it anymore. I switch off if it comes on the radio. Mind you he also chose It's A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong and that did seem very fitting

not that i'm planning on dying anytime soon, but in fact i already asked for Beauty And The Beast to be played if something does happen to me. i told so many ppl about it, that i guess it may be a problem changing it now to Goodbye Baby.

I'd want whatever song the band releases about 130 years from now.

Actually, in my culture it's not traditional to play this kind of song at a funeral, but if I had to pick one, I suppose I'd want Wild Heart. Great lyrics & not too much of a downer in terms of sound.

But they'd adjust the lyrics for you, right?

Hey why not a whole medley? Your funeral is longer than five minutes, right?

I'd pick obvious ones, Edge or Rhiannon. Both remind me of singing my spirit to the sky, and my spirit soaring, and all that. Plus, hopefully people could ROCK as they sob uncontrollably I will instruct everyone that they have to sing, very loud, "Once in a MILLION years, a lady like her, riiisz-ehy-ez"

I wouldn't have anything playing at my funeral because I don't want a funeral. Funerals are for show, nothing else.

When I'm gone, I want it to be a WEEP FEST!

That's why "Touched by an Angel" will be played.

Arrow Not an FM song...

Souldrifter by Lindsey is my choice for a funeral song...it's uplifting in that my soul is going to a better place.
