Anyone see the cast on Inside the Actor's Studio? Anyone notice that they never showed Julie Kavner on camera when she was doing Marge?
My dad told me about that one (I have no cable) and he said the guy who does Homer's voice was a little snootish, separate from the rest, and to quote my dad "you could tell he had a big head and thought he was better than the others" Did you notice anything like that?

Bugs was my favorite thing in the world. From age 3-6, I would tape ears to my head and pretend to be him. (This was at vacation at my Grandma's, we didn't have a TV at home) I actually thought, at those ages, and said, that i wanted to be Bugs Bunny when i grew up (or a cat). You know how they tell you you can be anything you want when you grow up? I took that very literally, apparently

Bugs I understand, but why would anybody want to be a cat.

I always loved them, and thought they were the cutest thing, and the best animal. The way they play is so funny, and they're fast and can jump. Also, who WOULDN'T want to be one? They don't have to do what you say, they sleep all the time, 'cept when they're playing or eating, and they get fed. I just always loved them.

Cats are wonderful little critters. I guarantee you would love my little kitty, Gypsy. Heck Stevie even wrote a song for her!

Cats love me, & I can deal with them one-on-one, but I can't see why anybody would choose tom live with or feed or touch them.
BTW, given the thread, shouldn't you have named your cat Selma?

Now why on earth would someone name a cat Selma? Yeah, yeah I know, Patti and Selma. Ha.

Actually, Gypsy was from a litter of kittens I fostered, then adopted. I helped bring them into this world and I got to name them. Their names were Gypsy, Tusk, Sara, Rhiannon, Tango and Bwana. They were born with feline leukemia, which is fatal, and Gypsy is the only one I have left. She is the coolest and everyone loves her, even people who don't like cats. She'd win you over, I know it!

Well, I'm sorry the others died.
That's as won over as I'll get.

Why not? They're fun, and funny, they're soft, they don't eat nearly as much as dogs? I just don't get why anyone would not like one, they're so benign. It's like not liking...uh, something it's weird not to like My favorite cat is really loyal and loving, he guards the door, he can fetch a paper ball, and is also an excellent goalie/shortstop with said paper ball. He can jump in the air, catch it between his paws, and put it in his mouth before he drops to the ground. awww, just like his mommie But, I guess it's stupid to argue, some people just don't care for cats...rock on.

They smell, they scratch, and they're less affectionate than dogs are. (Why do I get the feeling one of you is going to quote me to refer to men? )

LOL! Yep, you just described a man, not a cat. I'll have you know, my cat does NOT smell, she doesn't scratch much and she is just as affectionate with me as my dogs, even more affectionate than one of my dogs. But to save you, please at least tell me that you DO like dogs.
