Dear Dr. Adelson, can you give us any ideas or hints on who will be featured in the Q & A

I don't know; everytime I start to think about that it seems like it is time to move the site again. I'm only half kidding on this too.

Question

Marty -
Do you think Brett Tuggle might know how to get in touch with Steve Ross? I still think he'd be a good Q&A candidate.

Marty, here are a few suggestions :

John McVie - It would be interesting to hear a side of the Mac from its "forgotten" member

Judy Wong - The girl who was with the Mac from a major portion of its history.

Bekka Bramlett - Why not ? Lets try to get a view of the TIME era Mac...

and.....

A Second Bob Welch interview, I'm sure there's a lot of stuff Cigar Man can discuss with us all.

Thanks !

Sure, AZ...please have them contact us or send their email addresses.

My first repeat is likely to be Jeremy Spencer as we were just getting started for that one and there was SO much more that could have been asked.

I'll have to check on Steve Ross; that could be an interesting one.

Cool

Marty, Bob Welch has his own site and can be emailed at [email protected]

John & Bekka can be reached via their respective Agencies. :0

Look forward to anything you have to offer us at the Penguin.

BTW, Odd question, what inspired you to title this board The Penguin ?

We already did a very extensive Q&A with Bob that I thought was great so I do know how to get in touch with him. A few of the graphics on his site were designed by me too. We chat regularly.

John and Mick share an agent and past experience tells me they won't be of any help. Bekka is extraordinarily hard to get in contact with; I've tried quite a few different angles (including through Billy Burnette) without any success.

This message board is called 'The Ledge'. It was a song written by Lindsey Buckingham and just seemed kind of fitting.

The next time you chat with Bob, tell him I enjoy his music a great deal. Also ask him what he thinks of Ken Burns Jazz series !

I appreciate all your labours on this board !

Marty to reiterate, I meant what inspired you to name this site The Penguin ? Was it a preference for the Polar critter or because it's the Mac's Mascot ?

Also since you're a Dr., what your speciality
in Medicine ? (Perhaps Psychiatry in dealing with us Ledgies so well)

Thanks !

I have NO DOUBT in my mind that he named it that because it was the MAC's MASCOT!!! Geez your such a nut
BUT I meant that sincerely as a term of endearment...honest

And Marty~I'm sure that psychiatry is dealing with us,well at least dealing with me anyways GOOD ONE ARIZONA AS USUAL

Bball--

I haven't had that much time to try to get new Q&A guests and don't know when I'll start actively searching for people again. The Q&As take a lot of time to run and I'm short on that now. It looks like I have to rework the entire Ledge boards into a different format in the coming months so I'm sure that will be a big time drain too. Once I get one or two things fixed it seems three or four more pop up and I haven't been able to get back into a regular updating schedule. Once I can do this, I'll probably try more Q&A's.

This website is obviously called 'The Penguin' because it was Fleetwood Mac's mascot and therefore seems quite appropriate. My degree and research are in Molecular Genetics / Virology.

Marty, since you have an extensive background in your field, were you ever attached to Fort Detrick ?

Just Curious .
