Their theory is that this latest thing from Putin is really a product of the ongoing struggle between the State Department/CIA vs. PNAC/OSP (Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle, Cheney, et. al). With Watergate, it was "follow the money." With this administration, it seems to be follow the oil. Their hands are in so many pockets that it is truly frightening.

Of course. Shrub should be renamed "Georgy Pie Hands" because he has his hand in every pie that could possibly put more dollars in his fat wallet. His past realtionships with big oil speak for themselves, he's a businessman, not a politician.

Interestingly, in the latest polls, Kerry is viewed much more favorably over Bush when it comes to understanding the plight of the poor and middle class.

It poured. I didn't get to see him. It was being held outside, rain or shine.

It's close here so I think he might come back. I hope he does. I heard at the fundrasier later on he jokingly said he was going to nominate (Aspen resident) Hunter S. Thompson for VP.

Default Tampa airport officials confirm post-9/11 jet flight to Lexington

SAUDI PRINCE THOUGHT TO HAVE LEFT U.S. WHILE AIR TRAVEL RESTRICTED

http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky...te/8885976.htm

After nearly three years during which federal officials denied the story, officials at Tampa International Airport have now confirmed that a small jet flew from Tampa to Lexington just two days after the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, according to a published report.

Details of the flight, supplied by the Tampa airport at the request of the national Commission on Terrorist Attacks, indicate that the plane picked up three young Saudi men there and left for Lexington's Blue Grass Airport.

The men, one of whom was thought to be a member of the Saudi royal family, were accompanied by a former FBI agent and a former Tampa police officer on the flight, according to an article in yesterday's editions of the St. Petersburg Times.
