Default What is your favorite Stevie Nicks era?

Mine would be The Wild Heart era with tBella Donna coming in at a close second because it was when MTV first started off, everyone thought she was a witch, and her style was very new, compared to 80's fashion.

I love so many of them, but especially Mirage, TWH, and RAL. RAL is what came to mind first, though I know it wasn't her healthiest period.

For Looks - Bella Donna

For voice - Hmmmmmm - Street Angel was killer for that, but nothing can compare to the first two tours of FM.

I must say her voice is stellar in those BN demos from Tuscaloosa

I'll add that I love the regality of the usk days & the energy of the BD days.

I did not like her voice for much of the Tusk tour. She was not used to it changing yet. But, she sure looked good

Rock A Little! It wasn't the best for her health, but it sure was wild.

Second would probably be OSOTM, because IMO that's when her voice was at it's strongest.

I loved the look and attitude of RAL. I agree, she wasn't at her healthiest, but man, she rocked in concert. I also loved the huge hair and the glitter. Yay 80's . I also loved the Tusk and Rumours/White album eras. Her voice was so beautiful on the White album and Rumours tours.

The Wild Heart era--I thought she looked amazing and sounded even better.

Yup. RAL was all about excess, starting with the voice, booze, and hair.

I love the variety of opinions on this board, so please don't be offended when I say that TOSOTM voice is one of my least favorites. The album is okay, but some of those demos are painful to hear.

I agree, Jake. Not a fan on Timespace era either (as far as the live boots from that era go, her vocals are OK but a bit dull & not emotional at all, IMO)

Street Angel Tour, though, is an entirely different story - WOW!
