I haven't heard anything at all about the Mirage & Tango re-issues. I'm assuming that they're evenutually going to be released. I doubt that it'll be anytime soon. The Christine Perfect remastered re-issue is supposed to be released sometime by the end of this year. I haven't heard anything about the exact release date.

You would assume the Christine Perfect album wouldn't be too far off so it can maybe capitalise on some of the interest from In The Meantime (from a record company perspective).

NO but there IS news on the remastered Kiln House, Future Games, Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery To Me and Heroes are Hard to Find albums. And I'd much rather get those then Mirage and Tango in the Night and I'm plesently shcocked and suprised they're deciding to do those early 1970's albums first. so to all those who wanted Tango and Mirage to be remastered next. NA NA NA NA NA.

oh according to some magazine they're supposed to be re released in JUNE. But it doesn't mention any bonus tracks. But they could still be on there.

That magazine must have been issue 127 of British Mojo Magazine, I suppose. The review that was printed there informs us that all of FM's albums that were released between 1970 and 1974 are going to be put out as mid-price reissues, out in June. No bonus tracks etc. are mentioned, but "perfunctory liner notes" and the lack of repackaging are criticized by the reviewer. (And BTW, thanks to Lunk and the message board of www.fmlegacy.com, who posted these news ) I hope that helps.

Hmm... unless they specifically stated so, a reissue doesn't necessarily mean they'll be remastered. Especially being that they're in the mid-price line.

But hopefully they are.

I'm not sure what to think about this article in Mojo magazine. I HOPE the CDs are re-mastered with bonus tracks. It said mid-priced & that they'll be re-released in June. That sounds awfully fast to me. I already have all of these CDs. If there aren't any bonus tracks, I won't be buying these new re-issues. It does sound though like this might be a very good deal for someone who doesn't already have these terrific albums.

Default Reissues

Didn't those reissues come out about a month ago? I remember looking through Amazon.co.uk and seeing KH,FG,BT,P,MTM, and HAHTF with Pre-Order on them.I thought it might have been remastered but there was no mention of that.I assumed it was just a basic reissue of the albums with mid-price.They also appeared on the HMV website on the new releases section a few weeks ago.

You are correct. I just checked the Amazon U.K. site & they were all released back on March 29th. There are no bonus tracks & it doesn't say anything about being re-mastered, so I assume that they're not. It's just a standard re-issue at a lower price. There's nothing new on the Amazon U.S. site. They just have the original issue CDs listed.
