I've been to Ft. Worth twice:
Once with teachers on a trip to observe at a school, and once to stay with my friend's parents for the night in what was really a trip to Dallas. It sure is different from Dallas.

Which school did you observe?

Is that good or bad, different? LOL FW is more laid back and easygoing than Dallas.

I think it's a bit laid back for my taste, but Molly Ivins and Martina Navratilova have written nice things about its pace.

I don't remember the school's name. They practice an educational strategy called Applied Learning and there are fireplaces in the classrooms. It's public but possibly charter - you need to apply to the program to get in.

Um... Lux.

lol

But hopefully, one day, many more of you. When I get really rich I'll throw a big Ledgie get-together. I'd like to say "you're all invited"... but let's just wait to see how rich I get, first.

I haven't met anyone because I have no life and hardly get out of the house!

That's no excuse, sweetie... I have no life and I hardly get out of the house, and I've still met three Ledgies (two current, one former)!

Well you're old and don't have parents to pay $2 a gallon of gas to drive you places to meet up with people... and you're probably done with algebra for the rest of your life. Man, you rock.
