Hey everyone...

I love these tracks too. I still have no idea exactly where they came from... Like I said, a guy just brought them to me on CD. I live in Birmingham, as does the guy that gave them to me. I've called him and he said he asked repeatedly if there were more. Apparently there aren't. Of course, I'll keep pursuing this and see what I can come up with.

Right now I'm also trying to track down the venue. All I know for sure is that the gig was in Tuscaloosa (about an hour west of Birmingham). Judging from the crowd noise I'd say it's not a huge venue, and certainly not the farewell concert mentioned in one of these threads from the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center.

I'm getting a good deal of e-mail asking for more... I promise at this point everything I have is out there. Just four tracks (five songs, counting the Django intro).

Maybe this isn't over, but right now I'm not counting on getting anything else.

Yeah, as far as I know. I got the CD from a guy who said he got it from a friend at a studio (which I'll leave nameless here). The friend had been cleaning out boxes and found a reel of BN in Tuscaloosa from the soundboard. According to both guys, this is all that existed of it: Intro/Lola My Love (Track One), Races Are Run (Track Two), Rhiannon (Track Three), and Django/Sorcerer (Track Four).

I don't know anything else about them, but I'm trying to contact the studio guy and find out the date and venue. Outside of that I doubt we'll get much else.

I'll say again: This story could be BS, but I doubt it. I really trust the guy that gave me the CD; he's a huge FM fan and a friend. As for who he got it from, I can't say.

I figured since the first three tracks were already out, I'd add the fourth one that I had. But that's all I have.

That's the story as I know it.
