I had the feeling that this would be the result.
I don't think the crowed booed Jasmine. They booed that LaToya was in the bottom two. There is a difference. I agree that Jasmine was not good on Tuesday, but I don't think it was the judges' criticisms that won her the most sympathy. Tuesday's image of her suddenly bursting into tears and losing that smile for the first time had to affect people.
I was not a LaToya fan, but she did not deserve to go. Just another nail in the show's coffin.
BTW, blast me for being insensitive, but Paula's sobbing was a bit over the top, IMO.

I think out of Fantasia and LaToya, Fantasia should have taken a hike. I'm sorry...I think she's completely overrated. They've been setting her up to win for a while and now, I think she will. Jasmine will be the next to go and it will be between Diana and Fantasia.

I think that Fantasia's the best since Jennifer left. But I won't be surprised if Jasmine wins it all.

No, it would be Diana over Jasmine. The only reason Jasmine is still here is because of what Simon says (don't crack Simon says jokes, plz..I can hear the rusty wheels of your brain turning already). Diana has been amazing (i know, I said I wouldn't watch but it's like a damn trainwreck) so out of the three, I think she's the one who would really do the title of American Idol justice. She's the whole package, IMO. I still miss Jennifer though. She would have been amazing the past few shows.

Diana's giggle annoys me. It wasn't so bad this week. But she has picked up the habit of starting every other song with "C'mon y'all!"
And since when does being the total package matter?

Fantasia has been my favorite for a long time, so I was happy Latoya went instead of her, but NEITHER shoul dhave left. It really should've been Jasmine. She sucks. Fantasia and Diana are the two bests but I would much rather hear Latoya sing more next week instead of jasmine.

Oh, leave the poor girl alone. She's very Kelly Clarkson-esque in that way. To me, Fantasia is overly confident and totally smug. Everything about her irks me. She'll win though...they've been setting it up this way. Since when in Hollywood has being the total package NOT mattered? C'mon, Jake.
