Ticket Help

Hey everyone. I was trying to get tickets for PNC arts center in NJ today from Ticketmaster and the best I had showing was in the 300's. I'm holding off based on what I've seen people pull closer to the shows. If anyone who frequents TM happens to see good seats show up for this show please post it here, or PM me. Heck, I'll even PM you with my cell phone number. If anyone finds these seats and let's me know I'll give you my first born! Thanks!

I got in right at 9:00 and best seats (for 4 tix) was 101 row Y - being a self professed "seat snob", LOL, I threw them back. Of course then could only pull sections 300 and 400. What pisses me off is that the 300 levels are the same price as the 100 levels, and far worse seats. When I am paying $147 per ticket (the ticket price plus all the "convenience" fees), I want CLOSE!

Pale Shadow, many times I've been able to get decent seats a week before the show - just gotta keep checking TM constantly. You will have much better luck if you only need one or two tickets, as compared to a larger block.

As for me, can anyone give me the names of some reputable ticket resellers? I think I'll go that route if I can't find anything closer to showtime.

Yeah, I might end up doing that too. Thanks to WelshWitchpmd also! I think that if you only need 1 ticket you have a good shot at better seats. I'll keep trying. The problem is that I really can't afford to spend much more than the tickets already are. Over $100. dollars for an ampitheater is more than I'm used to. If e-bay or other ticket agencies are close to $500.00 it almost seems worth it to get the platinum package from the fan club. Well, Good luck to you Eileen. Hopefully we'll both get the seats we are wishing for!

I just found "decent" seats & bought them - Section 102, 16th row. Not as close as I wanted, of course, but better than anything else I've been pulling up. These seats are actually better than I pulled up at 9:00 a.m day of sale via TM!

If anything I wouldn't give up hope in good seats popping up within a week of the shows. The show on the 8th had first rows popping up a few days ago. Unless its a really hard venue to get tickets for, I would bet that most all of the shows are going to have good seats popping up within a few days of each show. I know it's hard to wait - but it's well worth it when you are able to get seats in the first or second rows!

Since we preferred 4 in a row, I grabbed them. If I can find something real close up later on, you bet I'll be buying them and dumping these! I don't think I'll have any problem selling these seats at face value.
