And, no American political party wants to anger the American Jews by making Isreal tow the line. So, Isreal can do what is wants withing reason and the definition of reason is growing.

I agreee with you 100%. The best thinkg they can do right now is to get rid of Sharon. His statement about wanting to kill Arafat is certain to have it's repercussions. It seems no small accident to me that the next day after he and Georgie had their little tryst that the leader of Hamas was killed.

Yes-the timing was certainly curious on that, wasn't it? I'm not trying to say that I condone terrorism, because, clearly, I do not, but I can certainly understand what might push them to take the paths they sometimes take.

I can't remember, but he held a conversation with one of his reporters on the importing that was completely sarcastic about the whole thing. He found it ridiculous. Lemme see if I can get a transcript of that portion.

Oh, c'mon. You must be delusional. Imperialism is the reason we invaded Iraq, not for anyhting else. We're trying to set up a colony over there.
And exactly where is the line of people who want to leave the US and live in Iraq. Colony in Iraq don't make me

And.????

Ok....refresher course, folks. Bad guys vs. good guys, 101.

Bad guys send their children onto crowded buses strapped with explosives and kill, not only themselves, but innocent women, children and men who have no military or political say. They are blindly following their leaders insane pleas with false promises of virgins, allah, and what not, much like the Japanese Kamikazi pilots of WWII. This is not a positive way to send a message to the rest of the world to be sympathetic to your cause.

Good guys, in retaliation, target top military and intelligence targets in hopes of cutting off the "heads" of the terrorist networks and stop the senseless attacks.

Any questions?

Rob

What a cold and heartless statement. You should be ashamed. You advocate going into another country, starting a war, getting hundreds of our men and women murdered, getting thousands of Iraqi civilians murdered along with their babies, just so you can save 20 cents a gallon when you fill up your gas guzzler? How cold.

And how come no one has commented on the torturing of the Iraqi prisoners in Iraq? Coincidentally, it's happening in the same exact hospital/prison that Saddam supposedly had his rape and torture rooms. And we're in there picking up where he left off and tying electrical wires around the genitals of the prisoners and shocking them. Oh, and smiling as pictures are taken.

Yeah, and you moderates always try to balance out the playing field by saying that, even though there are no facts that support we went in there to liberate. Just because it comes out of the lips of Dubya, it doesn't mean it's fact. I think that's a fact right there.

Iraq did backfire. They didn't have a plan because they thought it would go as smooth as buttah. Which it did for the first month and then Shrub said "Mission accomplished." Mission accomplished my ass. They weren't expecting any of this stuff, they were unprepared. They thought they would go int here, say they're liberating these people, and be welcomed with open arms. And be given carte blanch with the oil fileds. They went in there with the intent that Iraq would be a sister of the US, there's no doubt about it. They wanted control of the oil, what better way than to go in there, spend billions of dollars, and then demand oil in return for their "services"?

And the colonization argument is given further credence when you look at who they want to run the country.
