Talking I guess...

if Stevie is Cousin It (Btw, Stevie could be Morticia in that ol' black dress!!!) then it's safe to assume Mick is Lurch???

"Their creepy and their kooky...Mysteriously spooky...The Fleetwood Mac family"

WHOO HOO!!! Something as simple as discussion about the album cover is now going to turn into yet ANOTHER Stevie VS. Lindsey debate. (No offense Lux, I'm surely adding fuel to the fire here myself.) Last I checked, it wasn't allowed to focus on Stevie either without being flagged as a silly "Chiffon head" . Nobody can win I guess.

yes, well... that's another issue altogether which I wasn't really going to raise cause I saw it going down a pointless SvL course of discussion. Either way, I've rationalized that her face is hidden and she's turned away which equals out her size. That said, I like how she's sort of (justifiably) depicted as the sort of 'spirit' of the band on stage. Lindsey has that yellowy 'energy' light around him so that's good enough for me. I think it's great, just showing them what they do best.

And Mick as Lurch

Perhaps an alternate band name: 'Stevie and the Family Stoned'?

Default And another album cover too! Live in Boston

Now that's a great album cover!!!

I'd rather these "action" shots blended together then a single shot of them all together in one pic on stage just standing there facing the audience... How boring would that be? At least with these shots it's up close, and captures the essense of each individuals perfomance... Remember it is a promo tool... not a poster!

With all due respect, you do not just "hint to the fact that I really only care for Lindsey('s body)" or at least it comes across that way. You say things like, in sum, LB should be up there alone and La Nicks should not be there, etc. Again, even though I think most people have no problem with you feeling that way, you must realize by now that when you say things like that even in jest, people are going to call you on it because it comes across as disrespect of Stevie and her significant contributions as a member of FM. So, IMO, you are not being singled out in any way and it is not a personal attack on your feelings for LB. It is a reminder that he is not the only person in FM

Also, although they are all featured on the cover, La Nicks is more prominently featured on the cover because she is the most recognized member of FM and they (record company and band) want this to sell. Note: I am not slamming LB or Mick or John. But, clearly Stevie is more recognizeable and initial reaction from the majority of people glancing at a group of discs by different artists is very very important from a marketing perspective. That is all I am saying.

Watch your mouth, young man! Boston Tea Party. We might have been under the Brits (no offense, Pip et al) as long as the Australians were otherwise.

Let me take a crack at this. The Stevie crowd is much larger. The Lindsey crowd is smaller (and hardly a crowd, more like a team), but way more refined and sophisticated. Of coure, there is also a third contingent, the Buckingham-Nicks crowd, consisting of members who claim they like both equally but usually favor Stevie a little more. A subgroup of that is the "Never Admit It" crowd, and these are the people who realize Lindsey has gotten better with time while Stevie stagnated somewhere around 1984, made a slight improvement in the late 90s and then reached another plateau, albeit not nearly as low as 1984. They realize that, but they'll never admit it publicly.

So don't feel bad. Just rejoice in knowing you are among the sophisticates.

I must be part of the "Always Admit It" crowd.

I have serious doubts about whether this is the actual album cover. It's pretty cheesy. I could have made that myself.

Also, you might have noticed that when you click Marty's link in the original post there is also an item for a "PBS Special" with a release date of Jan. 1 2010. That raises some questions. What is the difference between these two releases? Could the PBS special be the Lindsey show? I would pay 50 bucks for the Lindsey appearance. That is really what I want.
