Well..it differs from day to day...if I am going out to interview anyone or going out to cover a story I usually wear nice pants and a nice shirt...business casual type stuff...

when not interviewing...I wear jeans or shorts..and usually am too lazy to do my hair..so a bandana..basically what I'm wearing in the picture thread...not the nice pic of me...but the one on the later pages..

Depends on the day. Sometimes I go for some leather pants, other times I just go with a t-shirt, khaki's, and sandals (NOT Birkenstocks and without socks). It all depends on what I'm doing that day.

So you've finally retired the whips, chains, and assless chaps?

Jeans, a nice shirt, and whatever shoes. I prefer not to wear open shoes to work as sometimes I have to go into the production area, and it's steel toe required out there. Plus, I don't keep my toe nails painted.....

Before I took an office job, it was an all white uniform, steel toe boots. Sometimes I'd have to get dressed up in an acid suit, complete with airtight breathing helmets..... I did pharmaceutical production, and delt with lots of chemicals. I really miss that job...

No, they still get some use. However, I've graduated into using cattle prods and, as a nod to Stevie, chiffon tie-ups.

Interesting.

Leather pants in Austin during the summer is just asking for trouble.

And since I live in Austin, and do a lot of walking around campus, I go for cool and comfortable most of the year. I like to wear skirts a lot, comfy sandals, jeans, etc. and like you Dissention, I shun birkenstocks. And since I'm a student and work on campus, I can go as casual as I want.

Well, you know, sometimes looking good overrides being practical.

Leather pants rawk, though. I must have ten pairs; brown, black, stone-washed, red. But you have to know how to wear them to pull them off. I gag when I see people walking down the street with their pants tight on the hips and thighs, but loose on the ass. Always buy them one size smaller than you wear.

May I ask what you do? What's the argument for uniforms?

You lost me. Isn't fishnet a kind of panty hose?

Question: Do you find that your mood/behavior/manner is different on Fridays because of the relaxed dress?

I just had a flashback. When I was eleven I think half my shirts were velour. (Same shirt, different colors.)

I like turtlenecks. One of the few things I miss about a colder climate.

Sorry, I quit that Chippendales job. (Explains why there's no longer a rush on tomatoes.)
