I think they tried out one or two popular CM songs to see how they would sound. I think they realized without CM they kind of didn't work.

I think it would be cool if they dropped "I'm So Afraid" in favor of "Murrow," dropped "What's The World Coming To" in favor of "Miranda," dropped "Gypsy" in favor of "Everybody Finds Out," and "Beautiful Child" in favor of "Sara" (although I think "Beautiful Child" has been PHENOMENAL on this tour, they don't really need to do two languid ballads).

Then add "Don't Let Me Down Again," "Destiny Rules," and "What Makes You Think You're The One" (or "I Know I'm Not Wrong," which is a favorite of mine).

Arrow Js...

Even tho I can NEVER hear ISA enough, I would be FINE with all of those changes.

Although, since Mick said Sara was added, how about adding Storms and dropping Beautiful Child? BC is my fave Tusk song, but I'd love to hear Storms as well.

the whole idea of comparing SN to Cher is really depressing.
Stevie is a singer and a songwriter. Cher can't sing and she can't write songs.
She is a great actor and an entertainer but when it comes to rock and roll - there's no point in discussing her in the same sentence as anyone in Fleetwood Mac - or any other great band for that matter.

I beg to differ, Cher has a unique but good voice. She is just older now, but she still has it. Interestingly, when she started out her voice was so powerful, she would have to stand at least like five feet from the mike when singing in the studio and 10 feet when singing back up

Me too, and if I had to sacrifice a song, well, that would be it.

I am getting so excited with all this talk of a new setlist. "I feel like a kid in some kind of store."---Homer Simpson

As far as additions: I hope they add SOTM and Sara, to hear Sara live is a lifelong dream and I hope it comes true. "Smile at You" would be a great addition but I REALLY wish that they would revive some B/N stuff like "Don't Let me Down Again." Can you imagine how awesome that would be? I would be reduced to a puddle on the floor after that performance.

Either breathe some life in Gypsy or axe it, same goes for Go Your Own Way and Rhiannon. Silver Springs could use some pep a la the Rumours re-issue version.

How about a little Red Rover? That would be amazing live, I just wonder if it can be recreated live with the big, overlay sound it has.

And why would they work? I think it's a bad idea to do Chris's songs, I think they should drop "World Turning", I mean why do it without Chris? Same goes for "Don't Stop" (here's a good excuse to drop it ).

Stevie and Lindsey have PLENTY of songs to round out a set without having to do Chris's stuff. I mean it'd be like Chris doing Gypsy or Rhiannon for Stevie if she wasn't there, it just doesn't make any sense!

The rest I agree with, but ISA MUST REMAIN. It's not a song, it's an experience!

I dunno, I think "Murrow" would be an experience, too!

'Sides, I absolutely want them to start performing that song live (even though it's not like I attend any shows! *lol*), and the guitar solos for those two songs might be just a little too similar to keep both in the setlist... so "So Afraid" has to go! *lol*

I think the should drop Peacekeeper, I'm So Afraid, Dreams, and What's the World Coming to and do the set like this :

The Chain
Eyes of the World
Say You Will
Don't Let me Down Again
Gold Dust Woman
Come
Second Hand News
Sara
---------Acoustic set------
Big Love
Landslide
Gypsy (Acoustic)
Never Going Back Again
Destiny Rules
Say Goodbye
Beautiful Child
------------
World Turning
Oh Well
Rhiannon
Save Me A Place
Silver Springs
Tusk
Stand Back
Go Your Own Way
Don't Stop
----
Crystal

It may not be the hardcore fans' DREAM set list, but it gives us something cool, and still pleases the casual fans who HAVE to hear go your own way, rhiannon etc....I think it's a logical set..what do u all think?

Chris

I'm afraid I agree, although dropping "So Afraid" would NOT be popular among hard-core Lindsey fanatics, Hi Christy!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!!!!!!!

Drop World turning, Don't stop, Silver Springs and Gypsy,

add DR, Sara, DLMDA, EFO, IKINW, The Ledge and Save me a place. The latter three fit in the time Mick uses usually.

Bad logic. Chris' tune were "hits"...they actually should feel OBLIGATED to play MORE of them. Just the same as when the subsequent band members did Peter Green, Danny Kirwan or Bob Welch (and during his departure, even Lindsey's) tunes...why should Chris' tunes be omitted? This is FLEETWOOD MAC, not BUCKINGHAM NICKS.
