Cool... thanks for the correction! The figures I had must have been based on the sales of the 2 discs counted separately (I hate when they do that... it totally confuses matters).

Is that supposed to be some weird slang? "The Rubble In Shangri-La"?

There was one. It was called Suckingham Dicks.

(Now let’s see if the mods can handle that blatant humour. )

I'd love to see remasters of all the warner fm catalogue
lol i would even buy a 2 disc version of time
But i think there is more chance of me becoming a milionair than a 2 disc release of time
anyway back to tango and mirage i hope they will both be 2 disc
but if i had to chooce i agree with johnny i could live with a single disc mirage better than i can live without a 2 disc tango
some sugestions : ofcourse the b sides like you and i part 1 and ricky and id love to have remasters versions of the 12 versions
especialy everywhere as i still don't have that on cd yet.
my favorite though is the 12" of big love.
let's trow in the big love demo as wel

wonder how they will do the label of titn as the vinyl had a difirent one for the a and the b side mm

I like ricky and down endless street, but for the rest of it: boring, unmaclike stuff: just an attempt to go along with the dancescene of the 80's. Embarrassing. those 12"'s really are the opposite of rock "n" roll. No, then a double mirage: with a lot of outtakes of older songs they tried by then.

of course, all imho...marc...

But i understand were you're coming from i got my best friend into fm but he can't stand the remixed stuff from titn and he asked me to please turn of time when i was playing it lol
all imho aswell gerard

CM is great on it, esp. "Nights in Estoril." Plus, the guitarist (Dave Mason, Billy Burnette) are very good as well. But, its not everyone's cup of tea

I've always thought they were pretty fun!

But embarrassing or fun, either way I think the main remixes should be included for completist's sake... leaving it up to each individual to either listen to them or skip them.

Oh, agreed, johnny. Back then I bought all of them

but my point was: if that would be the extra that's included on TITN, I'd rather have a double Mirage..... ( well, I think I always liked mirage better than tango..)

JS, you'll always be a #10 on the Butch scale in my book...

On the subject of Stevie's missing demos, I am betting she will only authorize demos that have had finished product released either with the Mac or solo (i.e. Think About It, POTU) You know she wants to hold onto the other ones just in case they ever get the studio treatment.

Which begs the question, Where is the Sorcerer demo? It could have been on the White album as a bonus track

Randy

Could be they are keeping it for an eventual release of the "Buckingham/Nicks" album.

One hopes so anyway

I found this David McLees comment to ICE magazine, to be an interesting one:
Quote:
A lot of what would be bonus material for that record is stuff that was on the legendary Buckingham Nicks.
So what does that mean exactly? Is he saying that 'Buckingham Nicks' basically served as a demo for the 'Fleetwood Mac' album, so there really wasn't anything to add to the white album? Or is he saying that the bonus material they could have included on 'Fleetwood Mac' is the same as the bonus material they could include on a 'Buckingham Nicks' reissue (ie: stuff like "If You Ever Did Believe" and "Sorcerer")?

I wish he had expanded on that comment.

So why didn't they just release the white album & the Buckingham Nicks album as a two disc set with all the bonus tracks? Sometimes I wonder if record execs did well on their SATs. No wonder being a "record exec" is a temporary position.
