from vh1.com under the discography (from the Rumours Deluxe Edition "review"):
"Nicks' fiery vocals on "Go Your Own Way" complemented McVie's beautifully understated style on tunes like "You Make Loving Fun," exemplifying their successful fire-ice dichotomy." they still can't get them right and we're not even talking about a photo goof from the 70s here...gee, maybe they're talking about the version on disc 2 that we don't know about. Maybe it's a Stevie lead ![]() The final reckoning day will be when i read: "...in the opening track, McVie fiercely unleashes 'Second Hand News'..." |

I've got a book of the top 1000 albums of all time, with little reviews by Colin Larkin and he makes exactly the same mistake. It's annoying because at the end of the book he arrogantly goes on about albums that get so overrated that other great albums by the same groups are forgotten about, and Rumours is in that list. It's true that Tusk has been - but not by the real fans - just by the critics like him who vote in these polls (Tusk didn't make the top 1000).
This was a 97 or 98 edition though. I picked up a later one once, and The Dance had made it in there, but I don't think the books are available anymore. |

Well, I guess it's possible they were talking about Stevie's backup vocals on GYOW, which are quite fiery.
But not likely. ![]() |
