I have always thought a second record is in the near future because: (1) all of the "fully produced" songs have not made the final Say You Will Record, (2) the supposed number of other songs in demo or partially produced form, and (3) the clear financial incentive the artists and Warner/Reprise to have two records with "hit singles" and, more importantly, the related catalog sales and tour revenues. I mean it was in Atlanta magazine this month that Elton John made an estimated $30 million or so last year in catalog sales alone; that is not counting what his record company made. So, even if FM can make half or a third of that amount two times with two different record releases I think they would do it. Also, while I have always been somewhat "fuming" at LB for taking forever to produce something, the recent article in the Guitar magazine suggests I have been somewhat wrong in this recent case because the GOS songs apparently have been ready for several years and he took only a year or so to add SN and FM (in some cases) to them and also produce her 10 or so new songs all while for a significant amount of time she was on tour or vocally ill. So, hopefully, all of this will lead to at least one more new record from FM. In fact, if Warner/Reprise would only call me and ask my opinion

I certainly hope not that this is it! Plus, I highly doubt that this will be their last album.
I have my hopes. Unrelated note: I believe the end of the world is when it happens. I believe there isn't any specific date. Trust me, if we have known that, we all would be miserable. ~~ Here's to a new album soon!
