4. Down On Rodeo
5. Hard Advice
6. No Make Believe
7. Come
8. Thrown Down

PLEASE NO SPACE NEEDLE!! ARGH! Otherwise please have the cd packaged with a real needle, full of cyanide, for instant death when that song comes on.

My picks are:

1.Peacekeeper
2.Thrown Down
3.Down On Rodeo
4.Say You Will
5.Come
6.Illume
7.Murrow (or is it Morrow as I have read elsewhere?)
8.Smile At You
9.Red Rover
10.Silver Girl
11.Wait For You (aka Shuffle Riff)
12.new Stevie or China Doll (wishful thinking I)
13.Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
14.new Stevie or Goodbye Baby (wishful thinking II)
15.Try For The Sun
16.new Stevie or If You Were My Love (wishful thinking III)
17.Say Goodbye
18.new Stevie or Mistaken Love (wishful thinking IV)

In choosing the Lindsey tracks, I'm working with titles I already know but I'm reasonably confident he'll throw in one or two new tracks. Even though the general consensus is that Steal Your Heart Away will be present because of the Christine connection, I'm not totally convinced. I would not be surprised if she had contributed to other songs during the GOS sessions and so it would simply be a matter of mixing her vocals/playing higher or back in. We'll see.

As much as I would love Bleed To Love Her to be included, I am doubtful of this considering it made its debut on cd (albeit in a live context) almost six years ago. If the new album had been a double, then it may have stood a chance, but I don't imagine it's gonna make it.

I would be disappointed if the following titles qualified for inclusion: Gift Of Screws (I like it but it's a little throwaway when compared with the other GOS songs); Miranda (dull); Twist Of Fate (an embarrassing 80's sounding ditty - verging on muzak); Not Make Believe (a boring retread of Thrown Down); Space Needle (even with a major overhaul and careful editing this song would never amount to much) and Destiny Rules/Hard Advice (I haven't heard either but the titles don't bode well - I suspect the lyrical content would be on a par with Get Back On The Plane).

Also, one cover is more than enough so I have opted for Try For The Sun because even though it is a Donovan original, Lindsey has adapted the lyrics himself and it must be said that they would be appropriate for Fleetwood Mac. Of The Rolling Stones covers, I would have chosen She Smiled Sweetly because for some reason it reminds me of Never Going Back Again, especially the arrangement and backing vocals. I would quite like Stevie to add some harmonies but I don't think there'll be two covers on the album now that it has been condensed to a single cd - I would even venture so far as to say that no covers at all will be included.

No matter what the outcome, I feel confident that this will be a worthwhile collection of songs because I have every faith in Lindsey retaining the integrity inherent in the Fleetwood Mac legacy.

Default Hmm...

First off, I'm seeing a lot of titles I'm not familiar with. Where have you guys heard of:
Destiny Rules
Everybody Finds Out
Silver Girl
What's the World Coming To
And is "Hit and Run" Shuffle Riff?

Here's my projections:
First the "Confirmed":
Peacekeeper
Thrown Down
Say You Will
Illume

Now the other 14:
Deep Dense
Steal Your Heart Away
Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
Come
Try for the Sun
The Singer Not the Song
Say Goodbye
Down on Rodeo
Not Make Believe
Space Needle
[The other 4 are the "I wish" - out of them, I think only SAY is really likely, the other three will probably be ones I haven't heard before]
Smile At You
She Loves Him Still
Running Through the Garden [Great taste BlueGrass!]
Watchdevil

P.S. I wish Shuffle Riff, but I don't think it'd be on there or else it would have a real name by now! lol And I realize that new Lindsey songs will replace some of those but what can I do? I gotta work with what I know.

P.P.S. I Don't want "Twist of Fate" or "Gift of Screws" to be on there, so I didn't put them, but I'm afraid they might be. We'll see! Oh, and please don't let "Annabell Lee" or "Have No Heart" be on there! ICK!
