Well our of these 18 songs, how many do we know NOTHING ABOUT?

"What's The World Coming To"
"Destiny Rules"
"Silver Girl"
"Everybody Finds Out"

Are these the only songs on the album we haven't heard at all in any form?

No, that would give full credits to the rest of the band, and Stevie is always writing the melodies for her songs (except in the cases in which she credits the writer of the melody). There's a difference between "music" and "arrangement". I believe Stevie writes the "music" (melody, etc.) to her songs, and Lindsey's role in Fleetwood Mac is to make the "arrangements".

It's unlikely, but that's how I interpreted it when I read it. It's the only reason I can think of why they would explicitly write "Stevie's lyrics" in such an otherwise plain list.

I just had a feeling all along that EFO was written by Stevie. When Mick said the songwriting duties were split equally he wasn't kidding.

This could actually be plausible...or it might even be cowritten between the two. But the reason why I think so is we were told Stevie had 8 songs and Lindsey had 10, yet I see Lindsey only has 9 on the list. Interesting...

Based on the knowledge that Stevie only wrote the lyrics to "Running Through The Garden," and the music was written by someone else, I tend to believe that the "lyrics, Stevie" notation is merely pointing out this fact... and not that Lindsey is actually singing lead.
The same goes for "Everybody Finds Out."

As for the "information" that Lindsey had 10 songs, as opposed to Stevie having 8... I believe that originated solely as an assumption by the fanbase that Lindsey had written "Everybody Finds Out."

Mick did state a few months ago that the songwriting duties were split equally between Stevie & Lindsey... although, in repeating that statement, it must be noted that Mick's info hasn't been entirely accurate. Though I think that's not really his fault, but more the fault of the record company, which seemed to endlessly vacillate between releasing a double or a single album.

At any rate, we'll know soon enough, when we all have our greedy little hands on the liner notes!

I believe the tracklisting was first confirmed in an email to the fanclub members, and then later posted on the message board at Mick's official site.
But I don't have a link to that particular post at this moment.

In other news, Amazon.com is offering two versions of the release... the single disc at $18.98, and a 2-disc "limited edition" version at $27.98.

Oh yes, Silver girl is right up there with Gold Dust Woman. It is a true Stevie Classic.
