[Violet]

Hi all! After reading the Ledge for a long time I figured it was time to sign up and say hi! My real name is Carol (Violet is one of our cats' name...the other one is Beavis, yes, as in Beavis and Butthead, don't get me started!) , and I'm 38. I live in Garden State Girlie's neck of the woods; S. Jersey, 25 minutes from Philly. I went to both Philly shows last year and will go again if they're back in this area. I work full-time in the legal field, am married and have a beautiful 5-year-old daughter who is the light of my life. She also loves FM music, and knows all the words to several songs. She's especially good at Landslide, and I swear one of these days I'm going to videotape it and send it to Stevie....I've always liked FM, but really became a fan after the Dance. I can remember sitting in class back in '85 and one friend said to another "your hair looks like Stevie Nicks'." She got all pi**ed off and said "gee, thanks." I never did like that girl!!

So here's my list of favs...

Favorite FM Member: Stevie

Favorite FM Songs: Storms, Beautiful Child

Favorite FM Album: Undecided.

Favorite non-FM music: Sheryl Crow, Celine Dion, Aerosmith

Favorite movies: Sound of Music, Emperor's New Groove (hilarious), Dirty Dancing

Favorite TV: Friends, Will&Grace, ER, Survivor, Amazing Race (will there be a new one?)

Favorite Beverage: Mt. Dew or Pinot Grigio

Favorite Food: Hershey's chocolate (I worked at Hersheypark once, and the smell from the factory was SO yummy!)

Austin is actually pretty gay-friendly. I think of it as something of an oasis in a desert of gun-toting, pick-up truck driving, baptist rednecks.

Let me also note quickly that you post what you, yourself want people to know.

I was reading older posts and read someone's concern about posting personal info.

Just wanna say that.

~~

God bless everyone!

Great choices in films ladies !!
Raiders Of The Lost Ark is my favorite film of all time,
and both The Emperor's New Groove, (i agree on the hilarious bit , this film is so underaprieciated . Yzma is a classic disney bady)
and The Sound Of Music (aah the hills are alive) are in my top 5
