Word! This IS a fan APPRECIATION board. Obviously, we wouldn't be here if we didn't love Fleetwood Mac. In fact, Stevie is my favorite. But let's face it, the woman needs some new clothes!! That cardigan is probably so ripe by now, it can walk itself offstage. Oops, I did it again, I made a funny about my favorite entertainer in the world.

Speaking of the cardigan being "ripe," I was wondering how many of those same black dresses does Stevie own? I think she wore it during every single show. And I think the others wore the same clothes, too. Do they have someone clean the clothes between shows? Do they have several exactly the same??

This is one time I sure am happy to not be Stevie. Otherwise reading this post probably would have made me cry.

I do miss the old days with new cool outfits to see all the time. But I think this thread would break her heart, not make her laugh. She was upset after all the criticizm from critics after her looks during Street Angel, but she went on. But if she knew her biggest fans were saying this (not just asshole critics), she probably really would give up touring for good. And we wonder why she never wants to do photo shoots anymore......can't say I blame her one bit....

Street Angel broke her heart. Which broke mine. I saw the first show of that tour and loved it, loved her. It was excellent. I miss the old outfit changes something fierce. But it's her life. Whatever floats her boat, and keeps her still making records and still touring.....

Oh, come on...the woman has been in the entertainment business for over 30 years...if her skin was that thin, she wouldn't have lasted 30 days. Her career is her life, and I seriously doubt that she would have a nervous breakdown and go lock herself in her house because a few fans were poking fun at her clothes.

I would love to see Stevie all glammed up for a change, I mean after all she is "pretty cute for her age" so she should play that up. I don't know why she's hiding behind that godawful black dress!! Also, we as her public demand that she show up at events in something befitting her fabulousness! It's only right dammit!

I said it was just my opinion. No need to get upset. Everyone can say what they think, no? If what you are all saying isn't suppose to upset her, why should what I say upset anyone here? It's just chit-chat. Chill out. I love all her old wardrobe changes. I guess that is more fun to talk about, to me anyways. I also like the outfits she's been wearing on the FWM promos for Say You Will. I love that velvet tunic shirt she had on with the black pants, it looked like it was dark blue with some green and red.... And that one pic of them outside and they are sort of looking up, I would love to see that outfit in more pics, to see what it looks like...it seemed retro or something, kind of different and pretty neat. Although I miss her old 70's and 80's garb, I must confess. I love that stuff. I can't wait for Leno. Since they are still touring, I wonder if they will release a new single. Seems like they should if they still want to keep promoting this same cd. I'd love Thrown Down or Everybody Finds Out...just because I'd love to hear those live. I can just picture her belting out the lyrics to Everyone Finds Out on stage ~ "...don't you know!...". That'd be so great. I can't wait for the documentary or whatever it's going to be. But she has stated she doesn't like doing the photo and video thing anymore, because of insults to her looks, and so I guess I just hate to think we get less and less of all that these days because she gets upset about this stuff. She has said it in interviews, that it bothers her, so she *must* be a little sensitive to it....and not as "thick skinned" as you seem to think. There was an interview after TISL where she talked about the photo shoots and how hard they are, emotionally. And how she was actually never going to tour again after Street Angel because of what people were saying about her looks. Ann Wilson also admitted to having anxiety attacks on stage because of the talk about her weight and her looks. So just because someone is in the public eye does not make them thick skinned. Especially these days when talent is not your ticket - your looks are. Which is sad.

Oh yes - I would LOVE for them to do EFO and for Stevie to get over the hip/foot trouble and deliver it with a vengence!!!!! Perhaps while staring down LB a la SS from The Dance!!!!!

Most of the criticism during Street Angel had to do w/ her weight, not her clothes. As for that album, even Stevie admits it sucks.
