They might as well have cheerleaders as far as I am concerned The last one I watched was the Jan. 2002 one becuase of the 9/11 stuff. That is how I know W was trying to scare us into a war with Iraq by using exxageration for emphasis when IMO he did not need to.

But - I always read the text the next day!!!!!

A few of my friends at the Kerry campaign headquarters phoned me last night and said they heard some rumblings about Bush introducing a universal health care plan tomorrow night...

We'll just have to wait and see!

The Ledge chatroom would be good for tomorrow night, actually.

It would - but I want you crazy liberals' comments immortalized for future reference

Well, while I am for that - I highly doubt W's universal health case is the same as my idea of it AND his last health care initiative, while better than enything before it, certainly made little sense to me and also certainly did not help the really poor.

Well, if it's anything like his Medicare bill, we should all be afraid.

And they had such a great chance to do good for scoiety. But, both sides just get taken over by the lobbiest. Even though this law is better than nothing, it just turns my stomach that for the most part people still cannot get the medical services and supplies they need in the richest and freest country in the world.

What ever happened to the investigation into congressional bribes? Did it just go away?

Pat Buchanan's column should be good this week.

Georgie's in trouble and he knows it.

Yup.

However, if it isn't socialized medicine, Shrub can kiss my ass. It's just going to be another half-baked idea that will not come to fuition and is mainly just a ploy to boost popularity.

You will always be disappointed because socialized medicine will never happen. Thus, the middle ground must be reached. I say that medical pricing sfor the uninsured hould be based on income levels and other demonstrated need. That seems fair to me. I mean if you have no money, you don't pay. If you have a little money, you pay your share. Then, the people who have insurance (the majority of Americans) go with their individual plans. Simple I know - but it would be better than what we have now. Also, I think the states perhqaps should get out of the medical business and let the feds do it all.

These are just random thoughts and by no way final.

Congressman: Details of Iraqi WMD 'years away'

Bull****. If that was the case, we should have been "years away" from going to war. BTW, the congressman? Is from Florida.
