Cheney and Scalia duck hunting while the Court was considering Cheney's case. Smacks of fraud to me!
They're talking about how they are going to steal the next election.

Don't you think W should have used the word Republic a la America instead of Democracy?

Reminds me when he said that when it came to faith-based intitiatives, he wanted Washington to be a "dictatorship."

He really should get a tutor for the English language or stick to mono-syllabic words.

And you know the saddest thing about the faith based initiative thing to me is that he is correct, these organizations seemingly do this type of activity with far more efficiency than the govt. But, I just think that is not the real reason behind it. I think the real reason is to pay off the far right religious conservatives for getting him into office. For example, I want to see the Fed. Govt. and W. give money to the Wiccan Sisters of the Poor or the Sons of Satan Goat Roast for the Needy.

That is the kicker, my man:

It doesn't even sound like he speaks our language.

"I like to come up with new words for the embetterment of my vocabulary."

Me neither.

In one of my sociology classes, this one woman said she voted for Bush just because she thought he was a cute, little man. He's many things, but cute ain't one of 'em. And she shouldn't be allowed the right to vote.

I know I know

So many people just think W is the most trustworthy looking guy. I just don't see it. We hit on this awhile back, but I think Clinton played on this same "Bubba-esq." theme. Although unlike W, Clinton's English was perfect, Clinton had that Bubbaness around him when he uttered such classics as "Well gosh darn and shucks - I did not inhale" or "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." Many people just on the spot believed him solely by the way he said it and I was like "Are you kidding me - he is lying his ass off" Oh the unwahed masses and their ability to be deceived

He ain't little either. But his brother Jeb is a big guy. His head is the size of a basektball. I saw a picture of the two of them standing together and Jeb dwarfs Shrub.

Ever since about 1985 or so, I just hate and I mean HATE the SOTU addresses. They might as well have cheerleaders as far as I am concerned The last one I watched was the Jan. 2002 one becuase of the 9/11 stuff. That is how I know W was trying to scare us into a war with Iraq by using exxageration for emphasis when IMO he did not need to.

But - I always read the text the next day!!!!!

I'm getting ready for an intense night of conversation over here.
