Hey everyone....
I was checking out Pollstar, and a big number of acts have already announced dates into May/June...with that in mind, when do you think we will get the dates from FM? ~Alex

I don't know, but let's cross our fingers that they are even going to be touring this summer. God, I hope so!

They are touring this summer. They've confirmed this several times.

Lets face it, Lindsey's wife is due in April. Do you think she's gonna let Lindsey go on the road from May to October and leave her home with 3 Kids (and a couple of nannies)?
I'm beginning to get skeptical about a tour next summer. They should just get right back in the studio and do a new Mac album right away. |

Plus, for some reason... it's beginning to look like the "Tusk" tour. You know, they toured for over a year and all that. I highly doubt that they would want to do a repeat of that.

They could easily just tour from June to late August/early September, and hit quite a number of places in the US. They've already done two legs in the states this past year, so the pressure to hit as many venues as possible would be far less. But I'm all for a new studio album, ASAP... whether it be a Stevie solo, or a new Mac. At this point though, I'm leaning towards the Stevie disc, since it usually takes the Mac twice (or three times) as long to release something. As I said before, Stevie could very easily record and release a new album while the guys are taking some time off (it's been done many times before!). But I'd rather see her skip touring this time out, and go right back into the studio with FM, so we can get some material that she and Lindsey have worked on together from the "ground up."
